Hi everyone my name is James Horvath, And I just recently finished and closed a very serious and detrimental case to my life and future, all thanks of Mr. Kostopoulos and his law group! I was searching and searching, doing tons of research to find the most suitable and fit attorney in the Chicagoland area that can handle my VERY unique case. I was charged with a felony retail theft about 10 years ago and I did not live in the Chicagoland area. So therefore as soon as I was able to, I came back home to Las Vegas. Cook county issued a warrant for my arrest, (1 for the initial retail theft and one for violation of bond). I also had been in trouble a couple times previous to this case in cook county for retail theft, possession charges, etc. And with those facts I assumed that there were no other choices but to appear before the judge in court, in person, and admit that I had fled the state and had never satisfied any of the requirements previously issued to me by the courts. I notified Mr. Kostopoulos that I was a changed person and that I had two young children to care for, that I loved very much. I am the sole Provider here to my children and family and could not risk being incarcerated, In result I would’ve lost everything; my home, my job, and all other investments I have here at home in Las Vegas! From the moment that I spoke to Mr. Kostopoulos all the way up until the very end. He always completely surprised me. He was able to arrange with the prosecutor & the courts to Quash all warrants issued for my arrest, and was able to convince the courts to allow me appear via zoom! And it doesn’t stop there, he convinced the prosecutor, and argued the fact that my case was a mistake on my part, and that I was fully aware of this. He informed the courts that I learned from my mistakes and bettered my life because of it, And did it all for me and on my behalf! The end result he achieved was “time considered served” on a felony retail theft + combined with a warrant for “violation of bond”. Mind you I was arrested booked went to bond court in the morning and was released that afternoon. I served a total of about 10 to 13 hours in a sub Station, and Mr. Kustopoulos was still able to convince the court to grant me a “ time considered served”.. My case is now closed and I have no pending warrant for my arrest. I never even had to leave Las Vegas in order to achieve this outstanding resolution. The case is closed there’s no reason for Mr. Kostopoulos and I to be in contact anymore, he has no obligations to me as the client anymore. And what does Mr. Kostopoulos do? He surprise me yet again and calls me a few weeks after the case has been closed, Just to find out how I’m doing and if there’s any other desires I have towards my case! And in result we are now working on expunging all criminal cases from my record in the Chicagoland area. So that I can pursue a stable career path and better my life for the rest of my life. Mr. Gus Kostopoulos is not only an attorney at law helping his clients. He’s a friend FOREVER! Thank you so much Gus for the gift of freedom to my family and I.
