Two DUIs dismissed. Hiring Stavri Vako was the best thing i have ever done in my life. I was arrested for two DUI within 6 months of each other. One in Rolling meadows and the other in Daley Center. Stavri Vako won both of them for me. I did not have to do any classes or pay court costs or fees. Dismissed outright, NOT GUILTY. Mr. Vako made sure my rights were protected every time we were in court. He insured i understood everything involved. I definitely recommend this lawyer for all your legal needs. Extremely helpful and very reasonable.

Stavri was there when I needed him. Not only was he able to find reasons to help me win but there was no back-down from him when the prosecutor tried to stick it to me. Afterward I told Stavri I got worried for a second while in court, he told me, "My job is to have your back." He truly did. I'm forever grateful to him!

DUI NOT GUILTY. Stavri Vako is a great lawyer. I was recently was arrested for a DUI and it was a very stresful situation. Mr. Vako walked me through the entire process and made it very easy understand. He showed a very high degree of professionalism and confidence in court and outside of court. THE BEST criminal defense out there!! I've had more lawyers over the years than I care to admit.... Like at least 6..... That being said, not one of them is anything CLOSE to what Bob is. Do some research, you won't find a judge, prosecutor, or even fellow attorney that has anything but respect for Mr. Hockemeyer, and for good reason. Not only does he know his law but he is a huge fighter and will do everything in his power to treat you like you're his only client. I have called him at 11 at night and he answers. He's came to help out my son on a Sunday night at 1030pm when he was being bullied by a police detective. He not only defended me with the utmost professionalism, but also with caring and empathy that went above and beyond and I consider him a friend and my strongest advocate. He even made sure to do everything in his power to make sure my criminal case did not interfere with medical treatment I was receiving at the time that coincided with my criminal case. Not only that, but he's very reasonable in the fees he charges. If you're in McHenry or DuPage county, and I believe even Cook, you just can't find better representation. If you can I guarantee it's going to cost 10s of thousands of dollars. He answers his cell phone and knows who I am before I even talk. Total professional and honestly I wish there was more space for me to write this review. I consider myself EXTREMELY lucky to have found him. You should too. DUI in Bridgeview dismissed. I had a dui in bridgeview courthouse. Very stressful situation. Mr. Vako was very helpful from the begining. He explained me everything that was going to happen and he was right from the begining. He is very easy to deal with and extremely polite. But what was very impressive was his courtroom abilities and knowledge of the law. In the end he got everything dismissed. Saved me a lot of money. Definitely recommend him.

I hired Stavir for reckless speeding, going 101 on a 70. I was really nervous and very scared at first and at the end the whole charge was thrown out and case was dismissed. Nothing went on my record. Not only the case was gone but also Stavri guided me every step of the process and made sure I understood everything. He is Very professional and understanding. Really a great lawyer ! I had 3 different tickets under my name and they were goin against my record ! But he form mt whole case dismissed after I completed my hours of community service wich were very easy to work with !!
