Recently I was in search of a defense attorney one that had a reputable reputation, one that I could trust and count on through a difficult time . I looked into several attorneys in my area none of that met that criteria. In searching outside of the County I reside in I stumbled across Ms Maureen Williams out of Peoria Illinois. What a blessing that was!! Ms. Williams took the time, had the patience and understanding of my side of the story. She was upfront, factual, and very informative, she kept it real!! Ms. Williams even traveled outside of her own County to represent me Im so thankful for her!! She was very reasonable in price couldn't have asked for a better outcome thank you Ms Williams for all you did ...If your in need of a defence attorney no matter what the charges are Ms. Maureen Williams is the one!!!

Mr. Lonergan just represented my father with some serious charges we were very worried about.. he was pulled over with 3 ounces of Marijuana in separate bags for personal use.. he was taken to jail and charged with manufacturing/trafficking felony possession of 30 to 500 grams and a speeding ticket. Mr Lonergan fought in court for 2 courtdates and got his felony charges dropped down to one misdemeanor possession and 2 years of court supervision minimal fines.. he worked hard and wrapped the case up quickly, I would absolutely recommend him to anyone with a tough case or facing bogus charges. Ms. Williams was strongly recommended as an attorney who cares, and works with and for her client. Ms. Williams represented my husband for a class x felony. He was looking at serving up to 30 years in federal prison. Maureen took the time to get to know us personally, she answered our questions, comforted our concerns, and reassured us that she would have our back. She prepared us for the sentencing and my husband was only sentenced to 7rs; Just 1 year longer than the mandated minimum. I highly recommend Maureen Williams and her team. Mr. Lonergan represented a friend of mine in a case that went to trial. The trial could have gone either way, but Mr. Lonergan got the case dismissed after the State rested. Mr. Lonergan did an amazing job, and we will always be grateful to him and all of his hard work. He talked us through every step of the way, answered all of our questions, and was completely honest with us the entire time. I highly recommend him.

Even with multiple postponements due to COVID-19 requiring additional court appearances my fee stayed the same. Mr. Lonergan successfully litigated my case through trial. His fees are reasonable and his professionalism top notch.
