Given 2 stars only due to my case was not handled properly to get the close to maximum settlement vs similar cases. Had to do some of my own research within similar cases during mediation of low ball offers from the Defendant to come up with how my case should of been done properly. Forgot important topics within my case I had to remind Tod with. Communication was not what I felt it should of been.

Mr. Melton has just successfully completed a 4 year suit for me. There were numerous delays due to COVID, Medicare and more. He never wavered or asked me to settle for a lesser amount. His tenacity and knowledge of the law simply overwhelmed the defense attorney with a large Chicago firm. Tod is among the top personal injury attorneys in the country. Don't let his unassuming demeanor fool you. He is a bulldog.

Tod is the ONLY lawyer to have successfully won a malpractice suit against the doctor that was was the defendant in my case. (the doctor has been sued several times )
It took four years from incident to judgement. I will always be grateful to Tod for his honesty, Integrity, compassion, and his uncompromising ethics for the law.
