Zimmerman & Walsh was the best law firm for my family's needs. Erin and Rich are wonderful attorneys, who answered every question we had with our house closing and sale of our previous house. They answered our emails and calls, as well as accommodated the times we were able to meet. We liked working with them so much that we decided to use them for our Estate planning as well. Again, they answered every question we had and broke it down to understandable language. This can be a daunting task, but we never felt overwhelmed, because they walked us through the process step by step. They're price is reasonable and they don't over charge for the hours they work. Hard working and honest attorneys!

Erin is a great lawyer. She is kind, compassionate and is willing to bend her schedule to accommodate her clients.

If you are looking for someone to advocate for you in the court room Erin Walsh at Zimmerman and Walsh is the best Attorney in Winnebago or Boone county to do that for you. She is extremely knowledgeable with regards to family law and out strategized the opposing attorney on my family law case every step of the way. I could not have asked for a better outcome for my children and myself through my divorce. Going through a divorce is probably the most vulnerable you can feel when your possessions, parenting time, etc. are in the hands of the court. She spent an absorbent amount of time educating me throughout the divorce on the process and court rulings. She was extremely responsive when I had questions or concerns, she was understanding, compassionate and made me feel like I was her only client. That is exactly what I needed during a time in my life when emotions and life changes were at its peak. Erin is extremely professional and worked hard to keep my expectations reasonable. She is well like by other attorneys and the court staff, which made it easier to get things done in a timely manner. I could not have chosen someone better to represent my case. Thank you Erin for all you did for me and my children.

Choosing an attorney is not an easy task, especially when your going through tough times. However, I have to say, Erin Walsh and her team were outstanding. Not only did they keep me informed every step of the way but they were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They most certainly had their work cut out with my unconventional divorce case but we got the results we had hoped for. I highly recommend this law firm. Pathetic attorney she was paid in full never had time to make calls would get a letter in the mail letting me know court was the following day had meetings with her children at her office got nowhere in settlement

If you get appointed Erin Walsh as a GAL request a different one!!! First off, she does not return phone calls or respond to email. Her final report was slapped together without gathering factual information. In my case, she took everything my ex wife’s parents said and wrote her report based on what they told her, without informing me of what they said. Which was mostly incorrect and I had physical evidence to prove they lied about almost everything they said. All Erin told me was that they said I was a good dad and so she felt everything else (that was negative) was accurate. Long story short, the kids mother bailed for a guy three hours north. Now instead of seeing the boys everyday I only get to see them every other weekend because of the long distance. I can’t make it to their school plays, concerts, sporting events, etc.... I’m hardly a father to them because they are so far away. Now, they come to my house with complaints that they need me to buy them shoes and clothes because their mother spends all the child support I give her (700$ a month) I feeding her animals on her husbands farm. They don’t have the same lifestyle they had when we were a family and it truly bothers them. I could go on and on about how their lives have been so greatly affected, because of the lack of investigating on they part of Erin Walsh. If I would have know she was a liberal and lesbian from the start, I would have asked for a different gal. The case was a lose from the very beginning, I believe because of this. She was very biased and one sided through the whole thing.

If I could have put 0 stars on here I would. The courts appointed Erin as GAL in our case. I was in an highly abusive relationship with my ex in which, he used the system as a means for post-separation domestic abuse to gain power and control over me and our child. He is a strong salesman and his tactics worked on her with flying colors. I provided her multiple documents with proof of this but she created a schema in her mind as to what was really taking place in our situation and refused to believe anything I provided. She continuously reported that no domestic violence took place in my relationship with my ex, even though she has absolutely no training in regards to domestic violence. She unnecessarily and vehemently spoke of me in documents and blatantly lied on the stand when she was asked to testify in trial. No one without training in domestic violence should have an influence in such sensitive topics in family court or be allowed to make a judgment as to where a child belongs. Her ignorance of such matters will negatively affect the lives of many if she is allowed to continue in this field. Our case dragged on and on, all the while, she continually focused to press her financial gain in court and very unprofessionally in phone conversations as well. After much healing and education, I now work at a domestic violence shelter and have for nearly fo 3 years helping women free themselves from violent situations and post-separation abuse. My fight will never end. The ramifications of her decisions in our case will continue to affect my little boy and I the rest of our lives. I will continue to advocate for him against domestic violence so this cycle doesn't ensue and also for other women who endure horrific experiences such as this.

I was referred to Zim & Walsh. I was in an abusive relationship, finally got out but needed someone to fight my ex for my belongings, kids clothes and personal property. He and I were not married and he was a narcissist so the there should not have been an issue, except my ex felt that he was entitled to everything since he didn't like to work. Erin Walsh basically laid down and gave in to every demand of his without a fight. I never got the settlement money my ex stole as Ms Walsh never did a demand for payment. I was only give 1/2 my belongings even AFTER a list was provided to both attorneys and ex stated he would provide certain things. When I pushed for a fight for my things, I was told I had 24hrs to come up with an additional $2500. When I did not, Erin Walsh sued me in court for fees they had not earned yet. STAY AWAY
