At first I was nervous. I had a really big court date coming up for an order of protection that had nothing but frivolous accusations in it. When a situation like this, it was devastating at least!! About a week before I got a call from my attorney James we went over the case step-by-step Walking into trial 2 days ago Order protection that would keep me From my child for two years at least!! I walked innocent man as I should have. The accusations in the order were completely false and was able to come up with a defense for trial that was able to adequately show this to the judge without any doubt in his mind Before dismissing this Frivolous order!! After a five minute telephone conversation, i marveled that Jim Zuba is capable of a long term relationship with another human on any level. Kudos to his wife (and as his business partner). Each day must be paradise.God help her.

We are very grateful to have had Attorney James Zuba represent us in our extremely emotional and complex case. He was able to facilitate an agreed order with two other parties to settle our case. We admired his responsiveness, composure, work ethic and excellent representation.

My office's customer support team received several calls from this law firm, bullying, harassing, and threatening random employees to divulge an employee's personal information that we do not have access to, and we are not authorized to give out. I am sharing this information as an individual who had a negative experience with Zuba law, not as a representative of the company. This matter was related to personal family issues with an employee's family and should have been handled through the appropriate legal channels via that employee's private legal counsel. In my own conversation with this man, he was hostile and incredibly rude. I explained that I do not have the power to help him, and that he needs to contact someone else, and he immediately made legal threats, and then lied that he was threatening me when I called him out on it. I maintained that I could not help him and he hung up on me in mid-sentence. Some may view this level of aggression as the "tenacity" of a lawyer who fights for their clients. In my experience talking with him, it gave the impression of someone who was ineffective, unprofessional, and may have been experiencing a dissociative break with reality. If he were my lawyer, I would be very upset that he was wasting his billable time harassing random employees at my ex's business, rather than working through appropriate channels to get my issue resolved. **UPDATE** Now this dude is responding to my complaint saying that I was the one who was uncivil, when he interrupted me, hung up on me in the middle of call, called me a lair, and made legal threats to me just because I told him that I was not the right person to help him. He's saying that the phrase "I'm going to take you to court" is not a threat, as if anyone in their right mind would believe that, and now he's trying to hide behind the fact that I didn't have a nuanced understanding of his legal terms - which may very well very be true, because as, I explained to him on the phone - I'M NOT THE RIGHT PERSON TO TALK TO ABOUT ANY OF THIS!! Next time you guys are in line at that Rockford Hardees with the ball pit, and you see some dude threatening the fry cook with legal action, it's probably this Jerkoff who thinks that an appropriate way to conduct his business as an attorney is to harass low-level employees into saying or doing things that are outside of the authorization or purview.

Jim Zuba was outstanding in helping me finally resolve a custody issue after being in the courts for close to two years. He was very knowledgeable and worked to get the issue resolved when no one else could. He truly went above and beyond. I only wish I would have hired him sooner.

I employed the services of Jim Zuba to finish my almost 2 year-long divorce. As my case was fairly complex in nature, I was concerned that my change in attorneys would result in a significant loss in ground resulting in a lengthy delay in its ultimate settlement. From the initial consultation with Jim, I was extremely impressed with his strong grasp of numbers, business scenarios, and marital law. I could also tell that he had an exceedingly high moral character and would be very comfortable to talk with both which I knew would make the whole process much easier. Jim was able to both immediately jump into my case and have a dramatic positive impact on my next pre-trial hearing which took place only three weeks after Jim started. This ultimately set the stage for what I believe was an equitable settlement that was realized only 6 weeks after Jim started. I consider this a remarkable feat in light of the fact that prior to Jim’s entrance, I had been struggling with the case for almost 2 years. Mr. Zuba was very professional and handled my case with ease. He advocated for me at every hearing and even directly worked with my ex when the other attorney withdrew.
