I hired this law firm to do 3 things for me and not 1 of them was completed before they dropped me!! Yes they withdrew as my attorney in the middle of my case because the $5000 retainer fee was not enough money for them!! Brief summary.... I got divorced January 2017. I continue to go to court every month since my divorce. Since my divorce I have represented myself. Recently things have come up that I needed a lawyer. So I hired this law firm. My atty, Amil, and I got along great. Amil was an amazing attorney. He also knew my financial situation and he knew he would get his additional fees as soon as he helped me get the rest of my settlement from my exhusband. 1 of the 3 things I hired him for. Plus our goal was to go after my exhusband for attorney fees which we actually won with 1 out of the 3 things I hired him for. But right after working on a huge motion for me Amil asked me to drop off an additional $5000 at the office when I came in to sign one of my motions. I didn't have the additional $5000 to "just drop off" so Amil withdrew as my attorney in the middle of my case leaving me helpless!!!!!!!! Then the best part is the attorney fees my exhusband was ordered to pay of mine are no longer my exhusband's responsibility but mine!! Amil needed to come to court for 20 minutes so the judge could ask him a few questions regarding the bill. I told Amil over a month before the court date that he needed to appear in court or the judge would strike our motion for his attorney fees. Well Amil didn't show up therefore my attorney fees that my ex was responsible for was no longer his responsibility but mine!! This law firm will not recieve another penny from me!!!! They can come after me because I have nothing to come after anymore!! My exhusband depleted everything we had!!!! So I have nothing so they will get nothing!!!!!!!! I don't know how anyone in this law firm sleeps at night knowing what they do to single mothers who need help getting what's rightfully ours from our ex's!!!! This law firm has no heart!!!! It's all about money!!!!
