We've had ongoing issues with our 2015 return (it's November 2018 as I write this). It got to the point where the IRS was sending rather ominous-sounding letters. We consulted our accountant and as far as we were all concerned we did everything by the book. Despite going through the appeals process on our own we were unable to satisfy whatever requirement the IRS was looking for to absolve our debt. I called Michael late on a Friday and he was on the case immediately. He reassured me that nothing horrible would happen over the weekend and that he'd get on it first thing Monday morning. Sure enough he had discovered the problem, filed the paperwork, and was pretty certain this would take care of the 5-digit balance we "owed" the IRS. Today as I write this I have a letter in hand from the IRS saying that all but $40 has been wiped from our account. As we had originally thought we had filed everything correctly but it took Michael's hard work to get things finally squared away. I can't thank Michael enough for all of his help. He was helpful, kind, and most importantly communicative throughout the entire process. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend him for any tax-related issues that you have. Thanks!

First let me start by saying I did not want to write a “Mike is great review”. I wanted to take my time and explain why he is very good and what makes him excel as a tax attorney. When I came into my difficult tax situation I was nervous. Like you reading this, I was scared and thinking about it at all times. To the point I was unable to sleep. I went to Gordon law firm after receiving a letter from the Revenue Officer asking for me to settle up. Gordon law firm and Mike truly explained the process to me. I never spoke to the IRS (which is what I wanted). My case was settled, and I am moving on with my life. The people who work at the IRS are just like you and me. They just want to live their life and trust me their goal is not to ruin you. They just want a fair close to the case. This process will take over a year at minimum. Why is Mike a great lawyer? I work with lawyers all the time in my job. I can honestly say Mike is the only lawyer who gets back to you usually within the hour but for sure by the end of the day. This is important for people who are going through a stressful time. You do not want to be sitting there waiting for a response while you are biting your nails off. Mike understands this and gets back to you at all times, even on weekends if he can. I also felt like Mike truly wanted to represent me and get the best deal for me. I never once felt like he was just in it for the money or to push my case along. He is a young and aggressive lawyer. I promise he will get you the best outcome you can get. Never once did Mike promise me pennies on the dollar like the commercials. These are scams by the way! I can say all this because my case was close to two years long. Mike was there every step of the way. I also want to stress that they are my tax lawyers and even if I moved away they would still be my tax lawyers. So that says a lot about the respect and loyalty I have to Michael. I can not stress enough how good of a lawyer he is. If you want a firm that understands the stress you are having and understands how hard this process can be for you, then you want Michael.

This year I have hired Gordon Law to help me with past due FBAR's. They are very knowledgeable about the whole process and explained to me all the options available. We did the streamlined process and everything was exactly how they described it from the beginning.
