Case was over custody for my son’s daughter. Mr. Booker had information incorrect and hardly ever spoke up and never even showed up for one of the court hearings. Drug out for a whole year when mother never showed any interest of wanting her child and was in the system involved in drugs. It was a very difficult and stressful time and truly a bad experience!

Zoe was not professional at all. Phone calls we had lots of them. She dropped me with failure to communicate. Why was a phone call so hard with 20 thousand spent . I Always awerered calls. Zoe will eat your money up. Never go the strange law. And not to forget I went through 3 lawyers there. Bruce then another (can't remember her name) then Zoe.

I received a summons from Bruce Booker that included a dissolution of marriage/civil union despite my never having been married or in a civil union. I'm not sure how anyone can practice law when they don't even know why they're sending someone a legal document. I tried calling to ask and he immediately hung up on me. I also received a summons regarding child custody; this would also not be possible if he had simply done a little work looking into the case. I would be very careful hiring a law firm that does not confirm basic facts.

Not thrilled even in the slightest. On our first interview/sit down, our “attorney”, if that’s what you want to call her, couldn’t answer any of our questions and looked terrified the whole time. They assured us she was fine to work with and had done great in previous cases. I’m not very confident in those answers now. I even received paperwork calling it a ‘divorce’ matter.. which isn’t even close as I’ve never been married. About 2-3 months goes by and we were billed (and paid) for services that are STILL NOT COMPLETE. Turns out she up and bailed. They assigned me a new attorney without my permission, to which I do not approve still, and are being ever so shady about speaking with client care. I don’t recommend that you waste your time or money. And would LOVE to hear from someone from there if they’re even reading this. Edit: I HAVE reached out to client care who is actually zero help. They keep pushing off my phone call avoiding me. Unprofessional.

2 years and still not divorced $20,000.00 wasted. They have changed my lawyers 4 times and each time they would have to go over my case and then changed me again for each attorney . Submitting the same paperwork over and over, attorneys not doing there jobs. Illinois Bar Association will be hearing from me about this matter soon!!!!

2 years and im still not divorced, 10 grand in debt and they've changed my lawyer on me 3 times now, and recharged me for their time when I had to re explain my situation each time they reassigned me

I've called multiple times and keep getting transfered and then they hang up.

She has not only been on top of ALL of the paperwork and court filings, court dates, and trial settings- but she also truly cares about my child's wellbeing and has worked her hardest to ensure that my child does not have to suffer the rest of her life in a negative atmosphere. She is a positive, hardworking lawyer and she is the ONLY reason that I have been able to achieve everything in my custody case that I have achieved. In a few weeks, I will have full custody of my daughter and as a black man, this is a huge feat. I am in awe of the amazing work that Emma has done, but so thankful that my daughter will be in a much better environment with me- all the time. Stange Law Firm is lucky to have Ms. Curtis on their team. She is the best lawyer that anyone could ask for.

We have been working with Emma Curtis, who is a team leader attorney. She truly had her work cut out for her-- after our previous attorney with this law firm was released and Emma had to take over a difficult case in which my stepdaughter's mother has been incessant and will not give up, despite the evidence against her. We are dealing with a case that has much to do with the neglect of a minor child and will continue to fight until our child is living in peace. Emma has gone above and beyond to represent us, and even teach us about the law in Illinois and ensure that we have everything we need to help our child. We have definitely spent a lot of hard-earned money with Stange Law Firm, but our case is coming to a close and we are definitely going to receive everything we asked for in the final trial. I appreciate Emma more than anyone could ever know.

Don’t use if your a father going through a divorce! I lost everything and I do mean everything in my divorce. From pre-marital assests to the judge telling me just consider that you payed rent to my ex wife while we were still married for the house we owned. I was married for 9 years, filed for divorce before our 10 year anniversary. Judge stated my alimony based off of 12 years. Attorney said nothing. Attorney said we will just need to appeal everything early in the proceedings and gave up right away. What he didn’t say was an appeal would be over $50,000. I paid Stange over $40,000 for representation and ordered to pay over $20,000 for her attorney and walked away with a carful of belongings. I speak from experience this law firm has many people working for them and just the name shouldn’t be why you pick them. My divorce was over 5 years ago so my anger towards Stange law firm has gone away I’m just trying to save someone from making the same mistake I did because it left me homeless and in debt for the next 30 years. Please please shop around because in my case it ruined my life and no one cared they took they’d money and living the good life. No remorse or responsibility for the bad representation.

The lady by the name of Brooke decided to tell me that she needed my payment for the console three weeks after the lady from two weeks before my console started she said she was going to take it out the day of the console which was the 30th of June which according to mr.bruce booker that I had already paid for it and it was taken out on the 30th .this lady Brooke was coneiving and very loud rude and abnoxious and I will never recommend strange law firm ever on my lifetime.
