Wonderful experience overall! Highly recommend Lasik Vision Institute in Orland. Amazing friendly service

The experience was great from start to finish. Both doctors were excellent at explaining the process and after care. Nurses were friendly and prompt. Surgery day I was in and out within an hour. I followed instructions to the T and had a great experience. I kept my eyes closed from the car ride home and then for about 5 hours thereafter. I woke up with 20/20 vision and little discomfort. The most discomfort I felt was from the goggles, lol. Next day and vision is great — 20/20 as I thought. Contacts and glasses wearer for over 25 years and it’s a great feeling to wake up in the dark and see! Thank you guys!

Top technology, expert friendly staff, on time appointments, great location. Can’t recommend more. I had my eye surgery one day, and the next day I could see 20/20. My only regret is not having the surgery sooner! Dr. McGlothan, Dr. Papas, the nurses and other staff were so competent, knowledgeable, and caring. True, eye surgery isn’t pleasant in the moment, but it was so worth it. Goodbye glasses & contacts!

Very professional, 20/20 vision the day after the procedure!

It was so easy to set up my initial consultation and was so quick to get the procedure scheduled. The staff was very friendly and informative. The actual procedure went very well, it was quick and the doctor walked me through wvery step so I was comfortable. Post-op instructions were clear and easy. Overall highly recommend!

Couldn’t be happier with the procedure and process, during the procedure they literally walk through each step of what they are doing and what you are expecting and experiencing. Super smooth. I went from a -8.25 on each eye to 20/20. If you’re around that ballpark, you know how dependent you are on your glasses for everything. So definitely no regrets!

I was really nervous about getting the procedure done. My initial consult with Dr. Pappas reassured me that I was doing the right thing by getting the procedure done. Dr. McGlothan was amazing throughout the surgery. He was very upfront about what he was doing and what I would be feeling. He even made it a point to tell me after one eye was finished that he was “happy to report the lasik was a success in that eye.” The feedback throughout is what really stood out to me. On my follow up appointment the next morning they were happy to report that I could see better than the 20/20 vision that they corrected to. Overall, the team at LASIK Vision Institute was amazing. Would highly, highly recommend getting your Lasik’s done here.
