My experience was GREAT!!! huge shout out to the Tinley Park team for everything. The entire team was helpful and very very professional. I went into my consultation extremely nervous BUT was immediately put at ease once I left. The surgery itself was flawless and took minutes I was in and out in a little over an hour. I truly appreciate them for their service and hospitality. It's safe to say I GRADUATED FROM EYEGLASSES!!!

20/20 vision, operation lasted roughly 10 minutes or less, actual laser per eye was 20 seconds or less. Go wild with your FSA/HSA. 👍

Great experience. I have held off for years of of concerns something would go wrong and I would lose my eyesight, but finally decided to get it done because if the supply chain for contacts dries up I'd be blind. I should have done it years ago! The staff was great I can't think of a single negative thing at all about the entire experience and procedure. My eyesight one day after the procedure is better than it was with contacts or glasses. I would recommend the Tinley Park office to anybody without a second of hesitation. Everybody from the front desk to the surgeon were great!

Awesome experience! The entire staff was great. The procedure was fast,and painless. They literally talk to you through the whole process, letting you know what's going on. The end result is my vision is now 20/20 👍

I had lasik performed in early September so it’s been nearly 3 months for me. The entire staff, from front office, clinicians and doctors were all very down to earth. The place was clean. I spent about an hour and a half going through all of the initial screening tests. I understand that lasik is very commonplace now and maybe I should have done more research in my own or maybe I didn’t know enough to ask the right questions but I only felt about 80% informed when I left. I scheduled my procedure 1 week later. The surgeon who did my procedure calmly talked me through the entire thing. I didn’t receive a Valium prescription like some other people had, not sure why, but I made it through just fine. It was only uncomfortable for about 15 seconds on one eye but otherwise, I didn’t feel a thing. The entire procedure happened so fast that I didn’t really have time to think about it. The staff gave clear post op instructions and products to use. I drove myself to the follow up appointment the next day. The final doctor I met was also very nice and thorough. He answered all of my questions. Overall, a great experience and I would do it all again in a heartbeat. I wish I would have done it sooner. The miracle of perfect sight is amazing! The only tip I have to people thinking about getting it done is to manage your expectations. Your medical history, aftercare, vision and pain threshold all make a difference in your recovery. For me, it felt like nothing more than wearing a dry contact. It took a few weeks before driving at night meant not seeing halos and only two months before I stopped having to use eye drops daily. But that’s my experience. Yours may be different.

I’ve been wearing glasses and contacts for over 15 years, I finally decided to get Lasik at The Lasik Vision Institute in Tinley Park, IL. I was a bit nervous initially when going through the consultation but the staff and doctor was 100% amazing answering any questions I’ve had and helping me feel more comfortable overall about the procedure. Now that I’ve successfully had the surgery I’m so glad that I went through the process, I’m seeing better than I ever had and honestly wished I would’ve done this some years ago. Amazing staff and doctor and if anyone having any thoughts about getting Lasik, I definitely recommend this location!

I have been contemplating getting lasik done for years, and I finally went yesterday and had it done. The smile on my face from being able to see and not have to worry about struggling with contacts or glasses anymore is absolutely amazing. The staff is super friendly and full of joy and nothing but smiles on their faces and Dr.Pappas is a comedian, super cool laid back guy. I highly recommend them to anyone considering lasik.
