I was very nervous about getting lasik but was ready to kick glasses/contacts to the curb. Everyone in the front desk and in that facility in general was so friendly and professional. My initial consult was with Dr. Pappas, he was very informative and answered all my questions to set me up for success before scheduling my procedure date. They wrote me a one time prescription for Valium to take at the facility before my procedure which did help with some of my nerves. The day of the procedure I felt like I was in very good hands, Dr. Edelstein performed my procedure. He, along with the entire team in the room talked me through each step of the procedure and described what I would feel before moving through each step. I did not feel any pain during the procedure, only slight pressure on my eyes which was not uncomfortable due to numbing drops. The very next day I was able to see clear and on my follow up appointment they were happy to report that I could see better than 20/20 vision! Being on day 3 post-op my eyes feel great besides a little dryness which is all part of the healing process and nothing eye drops can't fix. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to get lasik to get it done here, they are all amazing!

Dr. Pappas, Haly, Donna, and Elba great staff, friendly and they pay close attention to details. The Lasik Vision Institute in Tinley Park, has the latest technology, they examine my eyes with 3 different machines to establish a treatment. After that, the doctor did a full exam, analyzing my results. I scheduled my appointment. The procedure was 5 mins per eye, pain free. Recovery time was quick, I was instructed to go home sleep for 5 hours, woke up and I can see 20/15 in each eye. I recommend this place, to my friends family, anyone frankly. More Importantly its important to follow the post op instructions.... for a good recovery. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

Dr. Probst was amazing! Answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable even after I changed surgery type last minute. Fear kept me from getting this procedure done years ago and that is my only regret. I've had many surgeries but this is the only one that really did not feel like I had one. Ten minutes and done! I was able to read a clock across the room as soon as I sat up! Would do it all again in a heart beat!

Doctors here are so friendly and amazing! Any questions or concerns they had they answered! Loving life with my new eyes!

Wonderful experience! Friendly knowledgeable staff. Every question or concern was answered without hesitation. Everyone makes sure you are comfortable during the entire process. Well oiled machine!! I've done what they said and feel and can see great!

My experience was painless and amazing. I was really scared to do it but Dr. Pappas really helped calm me before the procedure and talked me through what to expect. Dr. Edelstein was amazing during the process. It was so simple I woke up the next day wondering why I haven’t done this in the past. Highly recommend coming to LASIK Vision Institute in Tinley Park.
