I've used Mike in the past the present and if need be I would retain him in the future. Hopefully it doesn't come to that!!

Mike is great!!! I just went through a nasty divorce and he was the best in every situation. He is very knowledgeable of the whole divorce process and always walked me through each process/procedure to make sure I understood and was comfortable. He also made sure that my best interest was always first and foremost. I would recommend Mike and Gauthier Family Law to any one that is need of a divorce attorney.

My ex-wife and I retained Mike as our attorney to handle our divorce. Our goal was to have as much of a amiable divorce as possible. Mike was great to work with as he helped us work towards a fair and equitable agreement. At the time of our actual court date, the Judge commended us/Mike on our agreement and how we went about our divorce. I highly recommend Mike and his services.

Michael Gauthier is like karma making up for the bad things that happen to you in life. I found him on trusty old Google, but after having already gone through a nightmare of a circus 3 years earlier with another attorney who didn't take anything I said seriously. Once bitten, twice shy, I was terrified of picking another attorney who wouldn't listen to my input. Enter Michael Gauthier. Not only did he remember me from a consultation nearly a year prior, he sat, again, and listened, actively and intently, not only to the issue I was presenting, but to my experience with and my description of my ex, who was causing a new ruckus in my and my children's lives. He took my knowledge of my ex's character and personality and did something I've never seen any of the 4 previous attorneys I've worked with do: Build a case and a plan of action. Communications are excellent, assuming they are necessary. I didn't always get responses to my emails, which, at times, brought out sheer panic in me, because I don't like not knowing *exactly* what's going on at all times. That being said, however, I did have his phone number, and if I absolutely needed to reach him, I could call or text him on it and I know he would answer (because he did). Therefore, not receiving an email response was less upsetting because I KNEW that if it was THAT important, I had his ear (eye). I wish I had found him 4 years ago. I was so proud to stand next to him in court, as he presented such a confident case that was delivered so respectfully, yet so aggressively that there was no question to his accuracy. He cited the law as if he'd authored it, and put forth an argument that was so assured, it was nearly impossible to argue against. Needless to say, for the first time in 3 years, my ex finally did not get what he wanted just because he wanted it. Mike challenged him in a way that no one ever has, and the result was a ruling that benefit my children, instead of him. Every single parent should have Mike on a retainer. You never know when you'll need an attorney, and the fact is there really isn't anyone out there who can do it better than he will. It will be the best decision you've ever made, and it's worth his weight in gold!

Michael was absolutely amazing. Everything he set out to do from the beginning of my case, he saw through 100% and accomplished. It was a pleasure to work with him and I would highly recommend him to anyone that asked.

Unethical and lazy. Advised me to accept a new job out of town and we'd get relocation hearing done in 90 days. Not close to true. Since I had to move, my ex got custody of my daughter, and my time with her is limited like a criminal . Never returned a call or prepped me for my depositon. Beware.

Mike is extremely knowledgeable and responsive, I would highly recommend him as someone who will fight for your best interest in a divorce

I have been dealing with a family case for over 5 years and was not getting anywhere with my previous attorney, which I had withdraw. Mike stepped up on my behalf, in one court date, he had the main issue thrown out. Like I said, IN ONE COURT DATE. I wish I had known him when my case first started. Gauthier Family Law is professional, well-qualified, and impressive. Mike is number one on my recommendation list, that's for sure. He was compassionate about my circumstance and made me feel like he was looking out for the best interest of me, and my children.
