I contacted Vaughn Wamsley when my dad was riding his bike and a dog came after him and caused him to wreck and break his hip. He had to have surgery the next day, when got dad home from the hospital to recuperate I called Vaughn and he sent someone out immediately to get the details of the accident and begin to file the case. He made it so easy for us, no traveling to his office. We reached a fair settlement so that dad would not have to pay any medical bills out of his pocket. I highly recommend Vaughn Wamsley . I also used Vaughn in the past and knew he would take good care of my dad.

Vaughn A Wamsley worked with me and got me a nice check when I was injured in an accident. I was not driving but I had to go to therapy from a driver who hit us. They worked with me and were so patient. I recommend Vaughn Wamsley if you need help with any car accidents. They are awesome. I went to pick up my check today and the lady in the front office was so respectful and kind to me.

It has been a long while, 14 yrs since Mr. Wamsley led our case against the careless driver of a truck/trailer and secondary semi who killed our son and nephew. It was never about money, per se, for me...rather it was about accountability and ownership of what they did to my 19 yr old baby. Wamsley played the empathy card and shared his own story of personal injury with us, which made us think he would truly fight for exactly the punishment that was deserved for those who caused my son's death. It took 2 yrs to settle from the time of the accident. He told us when we interviewed him that he would expect no less than $XXk amount for each of the boys' death, and from the semi company an added amount on top of that. 2 yrs later at the mediation, he told us in response to a question before mediation even started that "there's no $XXk for each" & then just turned away to other conversations. No explanation. After hours & hours of waiting, he entered our room and told us what the famous horse trainer's attorney was offering, along with the semi company's offer (and that piece of it was a true joke, the company basically got away with murder for pennies...not that there c/b a fair price for my son's entire life ahead of him!)... he told 5 of us in the room that we should sign/settle (he was in a hurry to get to his daughter's recital!)...and that we wouldn't really get anything more by going to trial! I wanted to go to trial, as I felt that their settlement was not a hefty enough penalty for killing my child. They tried to paint the semi company as a victim too! Wamsley encouraged that we sign, & said we would each (2 parties in the settlement) receive over $XXk (not quite the orig amount he said at interview, but not far off). We ASKED specifically "you do mean each of the 2 parties walk away with $XXk+, after you and all else are paid?" He stood with his hand on the door handle to leave the room, and flat out lied to all 5 of us, and said "yes". We were then hurried to sign what we thought we understood clearly, since we asked for clarity point blank, and w/out reading it all since he'd laid it all out for us before the paperwork was brought in. We signed, we left, and 10 min later he randomly calls me and says "I just want to confirm you do know my fees and all others will come out of that amount first, right?" Now, if he had made that clear when he explained it, why would he feel the need to call us 10 min out the door to confirm? He LIED to us, and he knew he did! That's why. He played us. He likely already negotiated with the other attorneys prior to the day and knew what he was willing to take for himself and therefore what would be left as our settlement. It's not the money... it has never left my mind how horribly he deceived us. I need to speak up finally. DO NOT USE WAMSLEY FOR YOUR LEGAL NEEDS! I'm going to tell my story everywhere now so that others are not deceived by him. He's cashed in on others I'm sure he has deceived since us, for another 14 yrs now... so my regret is not speaking up much sooner.

This has been a very terrible experience. I have had a personal injury suit in the past and it was a year to the day with a different lawyer. Vaughn Wamsley does not care about the little people or should I say little money. My daughter car accident happened 7/22 and still no settlement, never reach out only to certain ones if we want to know anything we have to call. It is 5 people in the lawsuit and the lawyer and his associate tell the other ones everybody business instead of having one big meeting where everyone can be on the same page. Its a lot of he said she said. Do not return emails at all but reads them. Wonder if they will respond to this review or just delete it. One young lady lost her life and then my daughter had broken ribs and a lacerated spleen other 3 occupants nothing but they are getting more of the settlement because my daughter had doctor bills and private insurance instead of medicaid go figure. I would think that it would be distributed according to injuries but no which is unfortunate but as a attorney I would think you would make that happen Fairly just common sense to me. Instead tells one of the occupants that my daughter has not signed and could end up with nothing instead of talking to my daughter , how can she sign something that was not offered to her? Just unprofessional. I'm actually shocked about it all. So future reference do not go with a big personal injury firm unless you are the only one on the suit and have alot of money coming otherwise choose the little guy they worked good and hard for me in my own personal case. I wouldn't even give them a corner of a star for how awful of a service they gave my family. The office staff only does the bare minimum (Rhonda), If Jeremy is your attorney, you are better off shopping on craigslist or Facebook marketplace. The DMV, Government, State, and Social Service entities respond faster than him and that's ridiculous. My Mother couldnt even give her deposition before she passed due to their lack of communication and urgency. We've been waiting since July to get an update on our mothers' case, and it took LEAVING A NEGATIVE review for a rapid response????? He will tell you one thing and then do something total opposite and won't keep informed until after the fact and that's IF he even responds. STAY away from this firm and take your claims eslewhere, I am warning you! You will be highly disappointed.

Didn't follow what he said he was going to do! He needs your money more then you do, and he will take the biggest part of the money and run!! They didn't help my daughter at all!!

Would advise not to use! Took 40% and refused to help when gov inadvertently mishandled case leading to further cost😔
