Tom Blessing was our blessing! My wife and I were frustrated beyond words at how my son’s school was handling his behavior. We provided the school with outside recommendations that our son be assessed for autism. Months of behavior issues went by and the school ignored the idea that maybe he was on the spectrum. To help our son in any way we could, we had him assessed on our own. With a medical diagnosis in hand, and a written request for an evaluation, the school finally agreed to assess him. My wife and I figured the road ahead was not going to be any easier, so we decided to enlist an education lawyer for advice. What we learned from Tom is that the school could have done more for us all along! Tom worked hard on our case, and always provided sound, experienced advice. Not only did Tom bring us results that we were very pleased with, but we really enjoyed working with him! If you need help, my advice is to call him. Find out where you stand with your circumstances regarding education law. My son is making progress today at school.
