Crooked.... sends invoices years later for things already paid for. In fact, he took it from my settlement before I even got my settlement check. Do not use or trust travis van winkle. Not to mention, absolutely horrible at communicating.

I recently went through a divorce mediation with Travis. I understood going in that mediation is going to be a compromise..If you don’t understand that then of course you're going be disappointed.. you have to be willing to LISTEN to the mediator try to mediate. This process isn’t supposed to be one party yelling out a bunch of unrealistic demands and Travis making that magically happen. What I noticed about Travis was his ability to be REMARKABLY calm and unbiased. He was “Matter of fact” and when asked ..exhibited a direct yet reasonable sense of fairness.. As anyone can imagine..he’s in an impossible Situation with agitated people who by being there..are by definition not “agreeable”. Travis, I just want to thank you. I found you to be the standard of professionalism ..and although I obviously didn’t get everything I wished for from my ex..I did get more than I ever expected from you.. you are a class act..and I would highly recommend you..furthermore I truly believe anyone who gives you less than 5 stars isn’t giving you an honest evaluation.. Travis has helped my family, my friends, our business and myself many times over the years. He is professional, honest and direct. I would and do highly recommend his office to help you though whatever it is that you need as long as it is in his offering. He has also recommended lawyers that have helped in cases he could not.

Travis was respectful, calm, diligent, and approachable through the time (7 years) I had him for my cases. Even when I was stressing out about things, he was as cool as a cucumber and explained things in depth with me. He was patient and made sure I understood everything before and after Court. When we were in Court, he was respectful towards my ex even though it was not expected of him. Even when she was disrespectful towards him, Travis never lost his composure. And he is amazing in Court. He knows what he is doing and knows the letter of the law. I could not ask for a better lawyer, and I am indebted to him for what he has done for me and my family. I highly recommend him and if I could go over 5 stars, I would give him infinity/5. That is how good my experience with Travis was. He exceeded my expectations by far and just impressed me with his professionalism and knowledge.

my friend hired Travis Van Winkle for 2 legal cases. Travis Van Winkle quit in the middle of the proceedings because of "personal" reasons leaving my friend without an attorney. Also, my friend paid him in requested cash and now Travis Van Winkle says my friend did not pay the four $1500 payments and is demanding to be paid again, which is unethical to me. I can attest my friend did pay Travis Van Winkle in cash with four $1500 payments.

trash & crooked attorney. very good about hiding money for his clients. he will let you get behind on your retainer, but say less because he will have the other party pay for it and get your portion as well. lol.

I have nothing positive to say about the this law firm. It ended up being easier to cut a deal with my ex-wife and her lawyer. Seriously; I finally got somewhere after he pretty much all but quit. All he did was file continuances and drag things out. At one point I was attempting to voice concerns and I was cussed out and hung up on by Travis personally. There is no professionalism, he calls and e-mails at very strange times of day or on the weekends, and often mixed up details of my case with other cases. My experience with this firm was worse than the divorce itself. I don't write reviews about anything else; that's how bad my experience was. In my opinion; you’d be better off moving on to the next attorney. I payed Travis several thousands of dollars and after I ran out of money he just got mean and unresponsive. Then he quit the day after my ex-wife and I signed and filed our agreement. The agreement he didn’t help with at all.

Divorce is awful. However, Lisa Anderson and the team and Mallor Grodner Attorneys made the process as painless as possible. My calls were always returned. My rights to my finances and child were protected, and I felt complete confidence in their recommendations. I would highly recommend Lisa Anderson and the entire team to anyone attempting to navigate the dark waters of divorce. They helped me find the light at the end of the tunnel.
