I chose to utilize Stephanie Jane Hahn as my attorney in a very difficult case and at one of the most critical times in my life. "SJ" was incredibly helpful and understanding in regards to my lack of knowledge of employment law and what to do next. She walked me through each step of the way. I loved how she cut to the chase and was so clear and concise when explaining things to me. She cared for my situation and definitely had my back, while not coddling me. I didn't need her to be my therapist, I needed her to be my bulldog and she was just that. She fights for her clients 100%. Without getting into too many details about my case, I am extremely happy with the outcome and wouldn't have taken the option I did without Stephanie's direction and advice. My outcome did not necessarily serve her needs, she could have dragged it out easily to get more money out of me - but instead chose to be incredibly open and honest and put my family and my needs first. She can come off tough, but she has heart and grit and will do whatever she can for you. If you want a great lawyer who is worth EVERY PENNY, hire her.

I contacted the law firm on a few employment issues I had and they were able to answer my questions and give me advise. With this information, I made several decisions regarding my employer.

Kept me up to date on everything. Was so helpful in getting what I needed, got settled rather quickly. Would highly recommend her law firm.

While my wife and I were waiting for a match in our adoption process, we received a "surprise" placement with less than 24 hours notice. The next morning we were met at the hospital 2 1/2 hours away by Nate who also drove up that Saturday morning on short notice. He walked us through the legal process, the paperwork involved and what to expect next. While we awaited finalization, he was responsive to any questions that we had. On the day of our finalization with the courts, it put us at ease knowing that he was there. We could not recommend Herrin & Leach more highly to any family considering adoption.

THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FAKE! There are some with different names/same exact verbiage. Do NOT use this company unless you want to be even further in debt, lied to, & stolen from. I have been working with Canyon for over 2 years. I thought things were going smooth until my account was closed randomly. They said I missed a double payment in July. No one contacted me about scheduling a double payment (in the past I have had to verbally approve of payments not on their scheduled day) — was told the computer closed the account out because of that. Glad now because I found out we have been paying $800 of our $1050 payment in “fees” — was told there would be fees for the first 9-12 months NOT for over 2 years. I am disgusted and feel completely scammed out of over $20k that could have been going towards my debts. I thought you could trust this company but DO NOT! They are not worth it. So many better ones out there who won’t drag you through the mud and leave you to figure it out on your own. Scam scam scam. Update: STILL haven’t heard anything from Canyon Legal. Found out that multiple accounts they claimed were paid off did not even have negotiations being made. I have emailed multiple times asking for copies of my accounts that they were “working” on since they closed my online access. They sent one several months ago through email and now are saying they can not send copies through email. Another update - still never heard anything from them after they responded to this review A YEAR ago saying someone would reach out to me. Upon closing my account, without my knowledge, Canyon takes away your access to your online account. So you can no longer see any of your debts that they have “paid” or are working on. As previously stated they did not pay multiple accounts they claimed to have settled. I’m having to explain myself to creditors now and let them know that I was working with a fraudulent company. Save yourself time and money. Use literally ANY other company.

This firm has been reasonably good so far but since their website upgrade, apparently they are not receiving documents that clients upload through their portal. I uploaded something on April 8th that requires a 30 day response and they say today that they never received it, even though I have a confirmation from April 8th. I am running out of time to respond and was told if I don't hear back from a local attorney in time, I can file something with the clerk of court myself. I have paid these people 12K and if they drop the ball and do not provide me with representation by the deadline, I will be extremely unhappy. If their website upload is not working, just change the link and make people email in their documents. Its such an easy solution to a serious problem, it makes you wonder if maybe the upload problem is a story to cover for other process problems. So today, I'm giving them one star but I will revise my review if they end up delivering as promised.

DON'T DO IT They will never call you back, you will spend hours on hold trying to talk to anyone. Find another company to help you. I wish

This company is a joke! I have been dealing with one particular account for 2 years exact and they have done NOTHING!!! They said "it looks like a lawyer didn't pick up your case in your area". OK SO THEN WHAT! I have paid them almost $7000 for them to not do their job to represent me. This particular account should have not gotten to garnishment if they would have communicated properly. They NEVER call you back when they promise too. Their only way of communication is through email which is a joke when you have paid them so much money. They are never proactive just reactive and that is not how it works, or how they paint the pretty picture of how it will work. I am 9 months away from my timeline and no where near close to paying off 3/4 of my accounts. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! TRY
