The investigator Mr.Shawn Kennedy made it easy for me to understand the process! He informed me of his duties as an investigator not as an attorney. He referred to Mr Truman and his office that would be the legal representatives. I shared with Shawn that my husband Patrick was a retired Louisville Police Officer and that he would help us get all the information required from me personally and on the Police report. I'm confused by these reviews, as my experience could not have been worse. I was told by a paralegal that usually with personal injury cases (MVA doing 70 mph, Nissan Juke hit by Chevy Silverado on 264), the settlement could average 4X the medical expenses. I realize there's no way she could provide me with an exact figure, but after the attorney fees, not only were my medical expenses not even covered, but I received 0$ for my time, travel, pain & suffering, nor any consideration for my vehicle's depreciation (which had previously never been in an accident). I would've received more compensation if I would've handled it on my own. I'm glad others have had better experiences.
