I had a case with this firm for a personal injury (car accident). Considering the circumstances and the stress of the incident itself I had no idea what to do or where to start. The insurance companies made me feel pressured to take the unreasonable amount they assumed would cover my stress, financial worries, injuries, and damage to my car. As soon as this office took my case on, Attorney Hoffman made all of my concerns go away by taking the time to explain to me how these situations work. I hired this law firm in May of 2020, for a 30 year old back child support case. My first few conversations with this firm were awesome. Kirk Marin was assigned to my case and he assured me that since the child support order was over 30 years old he could get it eliminated and stop the garnishments. I submitted the $1500 trust to get things rolling, but once they received the money my case went from an easy fix to a non-existing case. They finally came up with a 50% compromise contract from the State of Indiana telling me I had to pay $4000 before Oct. 16, 2020. Once the money is confirmed the garnishment will be removed. This was told to me in Sept. 2020. Guess what people, I'm still getting garnished. I had to call the law firm to see what happened and they replied they didn't know. That's it. I tried several times asking them for my money back in which $758 was remaining in my trust. They would not release the money. The law firm finally sent me a check in Jan. 2021 for $500, what? Where's the rest of the funds, they charge me an additional $200 just for calling them to ask why I'm still getting garnished. THESE PEOPLE SUCKS!!!! They should all be label as crooks, thieves, and liars!!!

My partner and I met initially with attorney Kirk BACK IN dec 2019 and it seemed the process wouldn’t be too complicated for our guardianship petition since both parents are onboard. We thought things might be delayed because of COVID, so we just kept paying our monthly installments. Fast forward to today and I’m asking for a full refund. They have transferred our case from Kirk, to some guy name Cody, only for him to reschedule twice and last time didn’t ever show. We lost 10 MONTHS waiting to hear back only to find out the petition was NEVER EVEN FILED! My nephew has no health insurance on top of so many other things we cannot make any moves on without the legal guardianship paperwork. I’m so upset that we lost so much time with no progress. If you care about your case, take it elsewhere because they don’t care what negative effects their delay causes. Martinez came out to personally apologize but I was not made to feel whole or important. I felt dismissed. So fkn psd.
