Called to ask a couple of questions and they refused to help me or answer any legal questions. I said I dont think I qualify for legal aid based off income but she wouldnt tell me what the cutoff was. They are no help

They are limited in their scope to support requests for legal advice and support.
It would be nice if they were able to receive greater funding and expand their services to the community.

Shannon Henson was my attorney when I suffered a slip and fall accident here in Des Moines. She was fantastic in her representation of me! She has a great team there at Hope Law Firm at the downtown office. While at times, it had been an arduous journey getting from start to finish-her belief in me and in my case, helped me through it and we finally reached the finish line! It's a simple website to navigate, with clear labeled category headers, and links rerouted appropriately. Simple to use as a reference site. I found the information I required easily and without any hassle.

Everytime I have called no matter what it is I have always been excepted. As far as getting help they haven't done anything for me. They always act disinterested, or they don’t have time, very dissatisfied and disappointed.
