Ashley Tollakson inserted the false claims that I own a 2018 Chevy Silverado and make $70,000 a year when that is easily debunked. Even though I gave Ashley my paychecks, my taxes, and she subpoenaed my employer, Ashley still inserted the false claims that I own a 2018 Chevy Silverado and make $70,000 and is being sued in a future lawsuit for her role in profiting off of domestic abuse and defamation; a deleted GoFundMe Account at the center of the case that and along with a host of other unethical behavior that I cannot recommend. I represented myself against Ashley Tollakson and records and emails will show she caved the day before trial. I do not know why Ashley inserted that I would receive Jessica and Daniel's 2018 Chevy Silverado, but 1 star until then.

Emilia Edwards was so diligent and professional. I am a single mom who was fighting for full custody and rights for my little girl. She was very personable, and knowledgeable about all the laws, and knew what action to take to make the process as quick and as affordable as possible! Will definitely be recommending her to friends and colleagues!

Emelia Edwards was wonderful to work with for my divorce. She relayed honest and open communication that helped me process the legalities around asset division, mediation vs. court, etc. Would recommend Emelia and Tollakson Law to anyone in this situation.

TL;DR: Emelia is amazing! After numerous communication issues with my previous divorce lawyer, I reached out to Tollakson for a consultation to see if this was normal. I had issues with my ex and after expressing this to my previous lawyer, I was told there wasn't really anything that could be done. Despite the on going criminal case against my ex. After a call with Emelia Edwards at Tollakson, I messaged my previous lawyer and let her know I was going another direction! Emelia answered every one of my 37 million questions and made me feel empowered, instead of helpless. She listened to every one of my rambles and took into consideration all that I was worried about. We wrote things into the decree that I didn't know were possible! When my ex raised a few concerns, she full explained to me what we should fight for, what we should compromise on, and what we should settle on because we can fight for it later. She got done in 2 months what my previous lawyer couldn't do in 6. Add to all this, the communication from Alice, the Office Manager! I received an invoice every month so I knew exactly where my retainer stood. Alice reached out to ensure that I was not surprised by any unexpected charges. As a whole, I would absolutely recommend Emelia to anyone who's going through the life altering event that is a divorce. She will fight right along side you!

Emelia represented our family in a complicated custody modification. We found ourselves in an emergency situation and Emelia took swift and decisive action to protect my children. I can never thank her enough. Through multiple mediations she took the time to truly understand our family dynamics and advocate for us. She is kind and easy to discuss details with in a frank manner. Alice is also a wonderful asset to the firm. She responds quickly to email requests and makes every interaction pleasant and stress free. The opportunity to give our business to an all female firm was an added bonus for me. Emelia got me through my divorce, and that is a big deal. There was hysteria and tears and emails with TMI. I felt 100% confident in her representation of my best interests. Don’t tell her I should probably pay her for being a therapist as far as calming me down like a pro. I was glad I always knew what was going on and what would happen next. Ashley represented me in a very long, high-conflict, divorce and custody battle that took over 2.5 years. Throughout the entire process she explained things in a way I understood, was organized, responsive no matter the time of day, respectful, and most importantly treated the scenarios that came along with kindness and empathy. I've had attorney's in the past that didn't feel the urgency in situations because it wasn't their life. This is not the case with Ashley, she treated me as if I were her own family going through the same situation. I was extremely nervous for trial and she met with me to help me feel prepared and comfortable with my testimony. She took the time to explain how it all worked and never made me feel rushed or like I was an annoyance. I can't say enough great things about her, she truly cares about her clients in every way. Emelia represented me in a CFR Hearing as well as attended court. She was very knowledgeable and professional. I felt completely comfortable and trusted her throughout the process.
