Took 2.5 weeks to respond to an email. Gave me the impression that they aren't interested in a case unless it justifies spending most of your $3,000 retainer.

Kate has absolutely been my best investment for peace and resolution. Not only is she fair, but she holds accountability without making things worse for all involved. I never thought a family attorney could be like family, but she is. Kate has carried me thru some of the toughest times in my life with our case. But you're gonna be hiring a "most expensive best friend." Be prepared to talk endlessly about things that don't explicitly pertain to your case. Bill will rack up fast.
