Dan has been a outstanding lawyer. I would recommend him to anyone looking at serious charges He is reasonably priced, and works hard for his clients . Dan kept our client out of jail while working this case that extended over a years time. We hired him for a client who was facing PFO charges, and other charges that totaled upwards to 30+ years. Final sentencing was today, and probation was offered and accepted. This is a outstanding outcome for any client with previous felonies, and alongside new felony charges. Dan was timely, responsive when needed, and reassuring thru the whole process. He’s not only a good lawyer, but a good person and his kindness and willingness to help others extends into his work. Dan Carmen is the worst lawyer in all of Kentucky, poor manners, lack of empathy and no presence in court, Dan was consistently late to court dates and was unable to negotiate anything with the prosecutor, his main concern was his collecting his check. I would advise everyone to steer clear of him, he epitomizes why people mistrust lawyers.

I was arrested out of state for a Kentucky warrant. It was a terrifying experience. I had so many questions, and no answers. Mr. Carman was referred to me by a family member. Dan did everything he could to get me extradited quickly, help my mother bail me out, and got my case resolved quickly. Mr. Carman knows the judicial system, rules and procedures, and the personal very well. His expertise lead to my case being dismissed completely within 3 months. He never gave me any empty promises. When the federal government tried to accuse me of something I did not do, Dan and I took the prosecutors to trial and won the case. Dan was excellent in his preparation for the trial and excellent with preparing the selected expert witness to put reasonable doubt in the judge’s mind. During the trial, he was able to systematically and methodically expose all of the weaknesses and inconsistencies within the arguments of the prosecution and testimony of the government’s witnesses through use of highly skilled and targeted cross examination to deliver a not guilty verdict.
