The English law group/Cherokee Title Company closed on the sale of our previous residence. They are now representing the buyer in a dispute against us over proration of taxes. In my opinion this is unethical and unprofessional, as the contract we signed indicated that they would not be involved in such matters. I think this means they are acting as a predatory collection agency for the buyer.
