The attorney I hired at this firm brought in an associate that he said would only do case management and would save me money. Don't fall for that! That was untrue. I was consistently doubled billed for two attorneys to do the same thing, for the same amount of time, on the same days. And when documents had to be corrected due to incorrect monetary calculations, wrong dates, etc. I was always charged for the communication to inform them of needed corrections and for the time it took to make the corrections. And every minute of work was billed at an attorney's rate (or two attorneys rate), even when a clerical assistant could do the work. My case also lasted much longer than necessary because my attorney at Goldberg Simpson abandoned my case for seven months. He would not respond to emails when I became concerned that I hadn't heard from him. As my case was concluding (or so I thought), one more hearing needed to be scheduled. My attorney rejected all seven dates our judge had available for a final hearing because he had conflicts with his schedule. When the final hearing was eventually scheduled seven months later, he cancelled that hearing too, at the last minute, sending me no explanation. I was eventually told the cancellation was due to another conflict in his schedule! And he knew our judge's retirement was imminent and didn't care how my case was going to be impacted because of his delays. Our last hearing was again rescheduled for two weeks before our judge's retirement forcing my case before a new judge, at an additional cost of $7,000 to bring him up to speed, because the judges ruling in my favor was appealed by my ex-husband and the new Judge had no knowledge of my case. My attorney at Goldberg Simpson was even reprimanded twice by our first judge for his delays, his disregard for her schedule, and for interfering with the progress of our case. And no one wants their legal counsel at odds with the Judge! My attorney also promised me a review of my monthly charges at the end of my case and that promise was completely ignored. When I notified the firm of my numerous complaints, and provided them with a very significant amount of documentation including two years of invoices with mistakes, two years of email communication proving the mismanagement of my case and lack of responsiveness from my attorney, they just dismissed my concerns. A small reduction in my final charges was offered me which was no where close to the amount I had been over-billed by my attorney. The only reason I am giving Goldberg Simpson a one star is because Megan Cleveland, the Junior attorney that was working on my case, actually seemed to care about my case.

Justin was recommended as one of the best. I’m a divorced dad of a little girl, and all I wanted was to spend more time with my daughter. While my ex threw everything she had at us, by Gods mercy and Justin’s experience, in the end I gained equal parenting time. I appreciated Justin’s expertise, professional demeanor, and guidance. While many times I would question the direction he was taking us, he would always ask me if I trusted him. Every time he proved himself right. I couldn’t have been more thankful to have his representation. I walked away achieving everything I asked for and dreamed of getting, whether parenting time, financial issues, or school related issues.

Justin made the divorce process that I went through very easy and simple to understand. He was great at responding to questions and was both empathetic of the situation and a good teacher when it came to explaining the intricacies of the process.

Justin was great throughout the entire divorce process. He was honest and knowledgable and never pushed for anything I wasn't comfortable with. I made it through the whole process uncontested and was never pressured for anything other than that outcome.

Reconsider. I worked a custody case with a young lawyer here and im confident that he would not have been able to tell you the names of my children or even how many I have. He drops the ball often, you essentially have to walk him through the process yourself and listen to excuses the entire time. He can't be bothered to advocate for the truth and refuses to be held accountable for his inaction. I would strongly suggest another firm with lawyers that care.

I reached out as a new client to Justin Keys in a pinch to help with having one document signed by a judge. Justin took the time to meet with me and allowed me to explain what I needed. He submitted the doc for me, kept me updated as to the progress, and notified me promptly when the process was complete. He was incredibly reasonably priced, especially compared with the other attorneys I talked to for help in this matter. I hope I will never have need for legal counsel in the future, but if I do, Justin will be my first call. Thank you Justin!
