John is a personable stand-up guy. He did his job of representing me in court in the most professional, genuine and relatable. He is very keen and knows the system, and doesn't talk down to you if you ask simple questions. He's light-hearted and educated, and honest. I had a previous lawyer working on my divorce for 2 years. After getting tired of waiting, I hired John Schmidt as my divorce lawyer. He has been able to get it finalized in under 3 weeks. I had a previous lawyer for 2 years that couldn't get my divorce finalized. I hired John Schmidt as my divorce lawyer and in a total of 3 weeks he is getting it done. He is amazing!!! John Schmidt was very helpful through out my divorce. My ex husband and myself didn't want a nasty divorce as we have children and need to get along. John made that possible as my ex husband and i could meet with him at the same time to go over the paper work. John was very fair to the both of us and he explained everything as we went along.
