Before I met Linda Melancon, I already had a will and trust in place from other attorneys. Yet I didn't feel that I had exactly what I wanted in a trust for my daughter. My life circumstances had changed, and for other reasons I felt a need to start over. When I met Linda, we discussed my assetsand my daughter's possible needs in the future, and I felt that Linda knew exactly how to proceed. Now that the documents are in place, I feel at peace with the results and can go on with the rest of my life knowing that my daughter's financial future is taken care of and that she will have the continued guidance of Linda and her team. Linda and her staff are highly professional, competent, warm and caring. I recommend them highly.

Ms. Melancon focuses her practice on helping individuals and families dealing with estate, health, and other end-of-life issues. I feel serving the needs of the graying population is an often overlooked specialty. Whereas, almost any attorney can cobble together a will, do they have the deep knowledge and experience to guide their clients through a maze of legal, and ethical quagmires? The aging population is often overlooked, but not by Ms. Melancon! She truly knows her business. She truly cares about her clients. Ms. Melancon prepared a will for my husband and me. When my husband passed, having the will, and Ms. Melancon's continued support, made a very difficult time less overwhelming. I thank her for that! Have you attended any of her workshops/presentations? They are most informative. The sessions provide really excellent information on a variety of topics. Every time I left a session I felt less stressed--less anxious. I felt reassured I would know what to do to mitigate any problems that might arise. Linda, thank you! You've been marvelous. Not only has your professional expertise steered me through a nightmare, but I feel I've gained a compassionate friend in the process.

Betty Raglin & Dr Susan Jones connect the first time they met. She listened and she gave excellent advice. Dr Jones follow her advices thoroughly and which was very successful in get her situation taking care of in a timely manner. Not only did Betty contact the contractor personally, but also send out updates to make sure that the job was getting done. Dr Jones and I felt she went beyond the call of her duty. Without her expertise and her upmost professionalism Dr Jones would not be in her home today. We give Betty Raglin all the credit for achieving a commendable outcome. Would highly recommend Linda and her staff. My husband and I first met with Linda to have wills done. We chose her firm after attending a seminar in which we realized her dedication to and passion for Estate and Elder Law. As always we have reviewed our wills periodically and always returned to this firm for our needs. What we like about this firm is that they are very honest, listen to our needs, are detailed oriented in their work and explanation of what work will be done. They also always offer options to best fit our needs. I trust them 100%. Linda was the first person I contacted in helping me deal with my parents estate plans. My experience with Legacy has been ideal from start to finish. Staff are professional and responsive, clear in their comments and receptive to feedback. Thanks to them, I knew what to expect and how to prepare for our meetings. Hailey Manint is deserving of particular mention for her guidance in drafting a will. She has been a real partner in what could easily have become an onerous process. Hailey listened, made suggestions, and put me at ease with her pleasant demeanor. My husband and I decided to get our estate planning done after the passing of my dad in 2022. We have two small kids so we wanted to make sure they would be provided and have as little “unknowns” as possible. Linda and her team were great. They helped us understand LA succession laws and laid out scenarios for what would happen if either me or my husband (or both of us) passes away. They helped us understand Living Trusts and helped us set one up for our children. They took care of EVERYTHING. It was such a relief knowing everything is taken care of. As an added bonus while dealing with my dads estate (in a different state) I was able to ask Linda and Jennifer questions about succession in another state and they were eager to help me understand and provide guidance. We also contacted them about 2 years later for additional information/paperwork needed for how the trust was set up. I personally felt like they dropped what they were doing to help me and provide me with what I needed. Absolutely the best customer service! At the time, I also felt the price was very reasonable. There are different prices depending on your needs and I never felt pressure to get more than what we needed.
