First let me start by saying that before 2012 we had luckily never needed the services of a bankruptcy or car insurance attorney. We were nervous about hiring anyone because of the way that lawyers are often portrayed in the public eye. Well, the Grand Law Firm is the exception to ANY rule! We first began working with them on our bankruptcy case. Since we really didn't know any lawyers, we found them by looking at websites online. Their site seemed the most family friendly, so we gave them a call. That was the beginning of an unexpected 3 year relationship with some of most caring, professional, knowlegable and honest people we have ever met. From Lauren, a paralegal, to every lawyer in the firm, they kept us informed and up to date on everything, so that we felt comfortable. The best part was that they never made us feel bad for not understanding things. Although I'm an educator, the language of the legal system can be very daunting,. and between Ben Carpenter, Jon De Trinis, and Trent Grand they made us feel like no question was a bad one. We can't say enough about the positive experiences that we have had with this law firm. They never made any false claims, kept us informed and most importantly treated us with respect.

My decision to hire The Grand Law Firm turned out to be a good decision. Finding oneself in the situation where you need to declare bankruptcy is very uncomfortable. The staff at the law firm made it much easier than expected. Mitchell Dickson was very professional. He explained the process in “layman's” terms that were easy to understand. At 51 years old Bankruptcy was a very scary thought for me. On my very first meeting with Jon and Trent my mind was put at ease. I could not ask for a better legal office. Everyone including Trenton handled everything in a very professional manor. He knew exactly what he could or could not do and counseled us on every aspect of the case. All request for communication with the firm was prompt, even one on Sunday. I had the most AWFUL experience with this law firm. I called to see if they can represent me in opening my case to get things done. I talked with one of the attorney who was attentive at first but gradually became distasteful, distrustful towards me. Even though I live in another state and I made reservation to make the necessary trips to attend court dates. This firm refuses to represent my case and gave me the impression that I could not afford to pay the retainer based upon asking about the installment options which you need to have options in everything you do. Also, the attorney was implying that I take a list of numbers to call other attorneys to take my case which implied he was distrustful of my intentions of needing an attorney. I just hate that I experience something like this but I firmly believe that there many attorneys who are there for the people. Hopefully, this review will teach this firm that money can come over the phone as well as walking through the front door. Please be trusting of that....... Maybe I should have waited for the one who had a client than the one who was just on the phone......
