Excellent service and a very great man. Very professional and great at his job. I have used him three times now and he hasn’t failed me.

My wife and I can highly recommend Douglas Brown. He succeeded in helping us with our original goal of getting our son , who is incarcerated in Tangipahoa Parish Jail , much needed medications to keep him alive. He also went out of his way and spent extra time to get our son in an education program which he is helping set up in this parish ( All at no additional cost ). In this ongoing process Douglas kept us up to date and has treated our son with dignity and compassion .

I personally had a horrible experience with the services Doug provided. My divorce was uncontested and I have no children. It took 5 months longer than he told me due to his unwillingness do simple tasks that I paid him to do (e.g. making calls and drafting documents to send to opposing council). Doug stood me up for an appointment at a time HE choose, stating it was the most convenient for him. Additionally, he was inaccessible by phone or email for months at a time, especially in January and February. During this time, he ignored or disregarded my two emails and phone call that were simply asking for feedback on the property settlement I was left to negotiate myself. He billed me twice for tasks he, eventually, performed. When I presented documentation of these tasks being double billed, he denied this and then stated he needed to bill me for undocumented court fees. I was charged $195 for my “free” consultation as well. Obviously, I personally feel he is very disorganized with his billing system. This is simply my personal experience and thoughts. I absolutely would not recommend Doug’s services to friends or family. Regardless of rebuttals or explanations posted here later, I personally feel this was no way to treat a client.

10/10 do not recommend using his services. Was very unprofessional and extremely rude. He had this case for over 6 months and no progress was made despite the fact that opposing council and hiring client were adamant about getting the case resolved. Upon leaving him to seek someone more professional who would do what we paid them to do he refused to return the full remaining balance of the retainer fee because he was unhappy that our services had been taken else where

This guy is Great!?☠️ If you want a lawyer to not talk to until the last min. Not help you come up with a game plan. My whole time with him, I found myself wondering if he was Representing me or someone else. This was a absolutely stressful, and terrible experience
