If you are fortunate enough for Mrs. Thompson to agree to take your case, you will discover that her impressive technical knowledge of the law is outmatched only by her care for her client’s best interest and more importantly the innocent children stuck in the middle of a relentless legal battle. Money can’t make someone care, but you can hire the right person who will care. I had to let go of my previous counsel for a multitude of reasons. It was a difficult decision however I realized that if I had made this change earlier not only would it have saved me wasted money but may have altered the legal path all together. Mrs. Thompson discussed options with me that I never knew existed. This is where the technical knowledge of the law and the willingness to care for your clients merge. I am still learning from her and although the legal process is painful and risky, I learned by comparison that I am in very good hands. That’s what you would buy if you could. Mrs. Thompson has been a life saver! I hired her hesitant to do so because I had it in my mind that this divorce/custody would be cordial and easy but that was not the case. She listened to me at the beginning and respected my request and decisions and when I finally realized I needed to fight she was there ready and made me feel less stressed and guided me in a way that helped ease the stress through this draining process. I was Terrified, a typical worried single mom. After 5 Years, my son's father shows up trying to take custody of the little boy i have raised his entire life. After my 30 year marriage fell apart I had no idea what to do much less how to get a divorce. Totally awesome law firm - Danielle is totally on point and very honest and doesn't hold back - she will tell you exactly what to expect - even if that is not what you want to hear. She and Mr. Paul have helped us and still are helping us through a very difficult situation regarding business and personal money that was lost and/or taken from us. If you want an attorney that goes to bat for you, ms Thompson is the one. I'm currently going through what can be described as a messy divorce and custody battle where my soon to be ex-wife has used our son against me. Awaiting the mitigation she has refused to let me see my son, dictated when/what time of day I'm allowed to ask about him and on several occasions made it clear that she will do anything in her power for me to get limited custody rights. Through the entire process, Ms Thompson has genuinely listened, given advice, and done everything in her power to help. My best advice is to listen to her, she knows what she is talking about, and her experience shows. Ms Thompsons knowledge, expertise and passion for her clients came to show during my mitigation. Despite allegations from my ex and everything her attorney attempted to use against me to limit my custody rights, ms Thompson sat a stop to it, and I walked out feeling like I won. I was awarded more time with my son than what I thought I would get walking into the meeting It really upset my ex-wife, which made it even better.
