I am four months postpartum from my surrogacy journey and overall it was a really great experience! I would definitely recommend CFC to both intended parents and surrogates. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the dads and I felt like there were many things that could have been explained to us up front but weren't. We had a lot of questions we had to google or seek out answers to, all of which I communicated to my case worker at the end of my journey, and they appreciated the feedback. While our questions did all eventually get answered, this could be resolved with a detailed informational packet of FAQs being provided to both surrogates and IPs.

We worked with The Patel Law Group for our immigration journey and we had a really awesome experience with them. We had a I751 case for my wife and the Chirag Patel and Viviana Abril made that process really smooth and easy. We didnt require to appear for an interview and my wife's 10 years greencard was approved and delivered at our house. My husband and I cannot express enough "thank you"s to the CFC team. We interviewed with a total of five different surrogacy agencies and for multiple reasons selected CFC. Throughout the process CFC worked seamlessly with our IVF clinic, CFC was up front and transparent about expenses, CFC is a law firm, and even put us in contact with other families that we could contact before continuing with CFC. Our coordinator was with us every step of the way and truly made us feel comfortable during this unique situation. They take the time to match intended parents and surrogates based on compatibility and not just a timeline. Happy to say we not only have a child due to CFC but new forever friends. Our surrogate and I our planning yet another family get together. While surrogacy was not the way we envisioned starting our family, CFC made the entire process much smother and we will be forever grateful.

I would leave zero star if I could. CFC doesn't care about your dream of having a baby. They are only interested in your money. While they are searching for the surrogate, they keep withdrawing your money every month until it runs out. After we waiting for more than 1.5 years, they told us we are still in the queue, and no guarantee when. We can walk away, but we won't get any money back because the money has run out. In the end, we lost both money and time. CFC is nothing but scam. Stay away from them!!! We moved to another agent, who helped us find a surrogate within 3 months. Our baby is 2 years old now. We are so happy we walked away from CFC.

I had a great experience with Patel law group. My immigration case was little complicated because I don't had enough evidence but they helped me and I got my green card. Super humble and kind staff . We have now completed two journeys with CFC and have two wonderful children, 27 months and 2 months old. CFC was the right choice for us: always responsive, very organized and clear, and highly supportive when we faced difficult situations. They told us at the start that their goal is that the first surrogate candidate they introduce us to is the one we will match with, and in their experience this is what happens 99% of the time, because they are so careful about who they introduce. And this is what happened. 5 minutes into the first Zoom with the potential surrogate, my partner and I exchanged a knowing look -- this was the person. To be clear, they are slow and expensive. We signed with CFC for our first journey in July 2020, matched with the surrogate in Feburary 2021, signed with the surrogate in June 2021, and our first child was born in April 2022. For the second journey, the same surrogate agreed she would be our surrogate again in January 2023 and we signed a new contract with CFC in February 2023. The surrogacy agreement was signed in June 2023 and our second child was born in May 2024. But their slow pace can be a feature, not a bug, if caution, diligence and precision are what you are looking for, like we were. In vetting 5+ agencies in extended interviews before our first journey I focused on their surrogate screening processes and on their case management processes, and the others didn't compare. I think it's a company culture thing, as the founder is a lawyer. At work, I go by the 80-20 rule (aka 80% of the outcomes are determined by 20% of the actions), so good enough is good enough most of the time. In a surrogacy journey, I feel like it's more like 10-90 (aka 10% of the outcomes are determined by 90% of the actions) -- which is to say the majority of things are not controllable. So doing everything right that you can possibly do right is important. If that doesn't sound like you, that's totally great too. We have very good friends who went with a different agency that felt a lot more "fly by the seat of their pants," and also ended up with two children wonderful and healthy in every way. Great. Just not how we function. So be clear on what is important to you, how you think about planning and risk, and choose accordingly.
