Ms. Kirby got the best results possible for my case. She was able to convince the judge to move the status of my case favorable to my situation. Ms. Kirby is very sharp, and missed no detail. I found Ms. Kirby to be very responsive. When I called and left a message, she responded promptly. Her follow up on various issues regarding my case was very thorough. I could not have hired a better lawyer who looked out for my interest as a client.

Colleen made my experience really easy and stress free. She is confident and concise about her work making it very easy to trust how she decides to handle the case. This made it easy for me to relax during the waiting period before and during my hearings. I believe that my case turned out most preferably for me because of Colleen's experience with the Law and her familiarity with the Maryland court system. I really enjoyed working with Colleen because she is also a very nice person. I would absolutely hire her for her services again if I was facing any possible charges against the law.

Going through a divorce is a traumatic experience (emotionally, mentally, physically...) for everyone involved. Having Cary on my team made it easier. I must have called her a 1,000 times and asked the same questions in multiple ways. No matter the case Cary never displayed frustration or annoyance with me. Facing divorce is something most never want. From stereotypically sleazy divorce attorneys, to the overall fear the impact of divorce will have on your relationship with your kids and finances, you need a competent attorney to represent you. After speaking with a few attorneys, a friend recommended Cary Jacobson (she had recently assisted the friend in a guardianship matter). Cary was able to quickly devise a strategy that proved to be simple, effective, and minimized costs (legal fees) - despite having an overly aggressive opposing counsel looking to litigate the matter in a full blown trial. The outcome was far greater than I ever expected - especially given traditional biases against fathers in most family law cases. I attribute this success to Cary’s prowess, her knowledge of family law, and simply being able to outmaneuver the opposing counsel throughout the entire ordeal. If you are facing a divorce, or other family law matter, I would highly recommend Cary Jacobson to represent you.

Colleen got my charges completely dropped! She was on top of everything and there were absolutely no surprises at any point throughout the process. I am so happy we did our research and chose to have her represent me. Hello and greetings to whoever is reading this review. I hardly write review and most of the time i just read them over writing them, but I was very overwhelmed to write this one on this Thursday afternoon Jan 07, 2016. My girlfriend and I hired Attorney Jacobson in mid 2015 after the first Lawyer we hired was not in our best interests. Attorney Jacobson did our initial consultation and was very attentive and quick to notice mistakes that were on the documentation from the other lawyer. Attorney Jacobson noticed these errors in minutes of reading it and i was impressed and we decided to hire her for my girlfriend divorce and child custody case. My girlfriend went through a few mediations and the trial was on January 5th 2016. Attorney Jacobson was smart and strong in defending our case so strong to the point were the defendant lawyer look like he wanted to give up and defended just looked plain stupid. We won big and I would always be grateful to attorney Cary Jacobson. I would recommend her highly to anyone.

Coleen was exceptionally great with my case, VERY honest, accurate, handling all within timely manner and professionalism. She walked me through every step of the process with honesty and care. She would call me back soon after if couldn't answer my call at the moment. Coleen saw the level of nervousness and anxiety I was in and she made sure I got my peace/sunshine after the heavy storm. She's very family oriented (which is one of the things I appreciated most) like me and understood my needs as a parent to be at ease during the ordeal. Very thorough and didn't leave out a single detail. She did everything she had to do to get ready for the court date and was fully prepared for every scenario. When the judge called us up, she talked with super confidence and smoothly and had the judge really trusting everything Colleen was saying. She also knows everyone in this business in this area which definitly is an advantage compared to other lawyers.
