I highly recommend Pare & associates. Kimberly Boettger was amazing to work with on my divorce case. She has amazing attention to detail and ensured a fair outcome for both parties. I consulted with several other firms prior to choosing Kimberly, she genuinely cared about my case and did not make me feel like just another number.

I had the pleasure of working with Lisa Winer and her group for the past year and a half. I worked in a very complicated emotional custody case and at times it was very lengthy and required a lot of back and forth. Lisa was able to keep me calm during this process, communicated and followed up to keep me at ease I trust her. We got the outcome that we wanted. I would definitely recommend lisa and plan to use her if needed in the future.

Wondering if these perfect reviews here are real. I had been working Lisa and a few others. Some are good, while some just do sloppy work. Lisa is unprofessional in many ways but most importantly not familiar with Maryland laws, untrustworthy, lack of communication, overcount the billable hours... She seems nice but is just not competent to win a case.

They've all be amazing to work with over the years! They answer the phone, answer questions(with both quality & in great timing), routinely show up in court and win! What else could you ask for?

Dear Alice and Chris, Well, after two and a half years of navigating through an exhausting case we had our day in court and a judgement. I wish I had felt relief and satisfaction with the judgement, but as I listened to the decision I was overwhelmed by sadness, for my daughter, and for the state of humankind in general. I hope that moving forward there will be a much more peaceful environment for the minor child, so that she may heal and transition into adulthood with ease and excitement. I wish to take this opportunity to thank you and all your staff who guided us through this legal process. Alice, thank you for the guidance and for standing up to a lot of senseless vitriol on our behalf over the years. I have felt all along that I was progressing through this process well accompanied. Although Chris joined this case less than a year ago I have thoroughly enjoyed working with him. I gained a much deeper appreciation for the work that you do by observing Chris in court. His thoughtful approach, extremely good organization, knowledge of legal procedure, and overall professionalism were outstanding in court. At one point the judge praised Chris for pointing out a legal rule that apparently "most attorneys miss altogether". The judge was impressed, and that was a reflection of how the entire case progressed. I know it is part of the job sometimes, but I would like to express my distaste for how Chris was treated by the defendant. On several occasions throughout the trial Chris was directly accused of falsifying documents that were entered into evidence. These were financial documents that have passed through several layers of certification, including CPA firms, IRS, and auditors. It was sad to witness, but again Chris was professional and composed through these unnecessary antics. I hope this case benefits Pare and Associates, and its staff in building up their portfolio of successful cases. Alice, you and I spent some time debating the nature of S corporation pass-through income, and the impact it would have on this case. We made sure to highlight Walker v. Growe, which was critical in setting the stage for the judge's decision to not allow that income into judgement. The CPA firm that generated the economic income report testified yesterday, and pointed out that in Walker v. Growe there was a minority ownership stake, where in my case I had full control over decision making. I am pleased that we were able to point out that 50.0% is not a majority and that decisions at the company must be made by both members, always. I hope that in the end Branco v. Branco cements S corporation pass-through case law and how such income is treated in establishing child support obligations. In closing, thank you! Responsible, very knowledgeable, direct, and not focused on running up billable hours, quite the opposite. I have been working with Kim and other members of their staff on my son's custody case for over 1.5 years. They did a great job at getting me the judgment I wanted. I got a little impatient and a little crazy at times, but they continued to work with me and see everything through. I recommend them without hesitation.
