The amount serves as a guarantee by the client to pay the attorney upon completion of the agreed work. The attorney cannot claim the retainer fee until he has completed the work and invoiced the client. Any remaining retainer fee after paying the hourly attorney fees should be returned to the client.

I was in a auto accident, and Andrew Greenspan was recommened to me. I sat with him and spoke about the accident. He did not judge and he listened and cared about how I felt and my well being. Whenever I emailed him I always started with "I'm sorry to bother you" and he would always say "You are never a bother" He made me feel like I meant something and that my injuries where real. He walked me threw everything, answered every question I had, even the ones I thought to be silly. I hope I never need another attorney but if I do I will be going to him. Mr. Greenspan is an amazing person and attorney, he keeps nothing out of any conversation and will give the facts.
