Aided me a great deal in the last year with my father’s estate process.

Iris was such a huge help! I had a good feeling about her from our very first call. She was thorough, kind, patient and empathetic. She was a truly a breath of fresh air! One bankruptcy lawyer wanted me to sign something and pay a deposit on our first phone call, like 3 mins into the call! The other one I was considering before Iris never got back to me. But I'm grateful for that, because I found Iris and she was definitely the right choice. She helped me and my husband with every single step filing our Chp 7. She kept us in the loop with everything and she actually just called us today to let us know that our debt was discharged (*happy dance*). Filing can be nerve wrecking. But Iris is a very experienced and very warm professional. I highly recommend her!!

The process was so smooth, I actually forgot I had filed bankruptcy. Iris is extremely thorough & very communicative. She broke down the whole process step by step & she has the greatest attitude, she's really sweet. I wrestled with filing for a while, but it got to a point where I knew that was the best decision. Hello, I highly recommend Powers & Worshtil for any estate needs you may have. Here's our story: My wife's uncle passed in February '23 and he was a resident of Clinton, MD and this falls under the Prince George's County jurisdiction. We live in western Virginia (3 hour drive) so we had the challenge of closing an estate from long distance. First, we needed a 'Resident Agent' before we could get started and this office was recommended by another attorney. We called and they offered to be the Resident Agent for us. Second, we later had a long conference call with Ralph Powers. He was a true gentleman and made you feel very comfortable with the entire process. Third, when we really started getting into it, we then worked with Zach Worshtil. He was also kind, helpful, and quick to respond to any and all emails. Our estate was more complex than most but it went very smooth and their fees were reasonable.
