Very good attorney. He knows the local judges and is very knowledgeable about Maryland law. Also good in the courtroom. If you have a problem in OC better off to get him than someone out of town.

Where to start? Although I knew of Steve Rakow, I didn't know him well. But when my grandson got into a bit of trouble, my friend said "Call Steve Rakow" And then she made the call. Steve immediately too my call and I explained the situation and we set up an appointment for the next day. He explained everything to my grandson and me, in a way that was easy to understand. He laid out a plan and then gave a list of things for my grandson to do. My grandson has trouble opening up to people, but he immediately liked Steve and dis everything he was told to do. After an MVA hearing, my grandson told me that he felt like Steve really cared about how things would turn out and that it was the first time someone other than family showed the cared. Then the court date arrived and we were all nervous. But Steve came through again! He went to bat for my grandson and got 8 counts/charges reduced to one and my grandson got Probation before Judgement and a small fine. We were all so excited and appreciative beyond words. And my standoffish grandson hugged Steve right in the courthouse. I do not know what we would have done without Steve's help and persistence to make sure everything flowed along with a better than expected outcome. I know no one ever wants to "need" an attorney, but if anyone I know needed one, I would not hesitate to recommend Steve every time! Steve follows through and know exactly what actions to take. My grandson, his mother and I can all breathe a sign of relief now, and we owe 100,000 Thanks to Steve!

Attorney Steven W Rakow demonstrated absolute integrity while helping me challenge a fraudulent invoice and make counter claims. Steve is more than just a great lawyer, he has extensive experience in the home building profession and has owned several business. His unique background enabled him to quickly get to the bottom of issues I was having with a construction manager I had hired. His recommendations and the demand letter he sent gave me the confidence necessary to move forward with warranty claims despite the invoice dispute. While still not completely resolved, we have won several battles along the way due to Steve’s excellent counsel. Efficiency is important when you require legal support and I always felt that Steve was considering the cost of his effort and working in my best interest. You want him on your side. My only regret is not getting him involved sooner!
