Laurie Wasserman is a superb attorney. I hired Laurie several years ago to help advocate for me and my children during a high-conflict divorce with complex custody issues. Laurie was kind and validating, and also demonstrated that she was an extremely skilled negotiator and a highly effective problem-solver. It's been several years since Laurie helped me with a child custody and a subsequent child abuse situation. Laurie "gets" the dynamics when dealing with ex partners who are abusive or have narcissistic tendencies. Laurie helped me through one of my most difficult times with calm and practical guidance. She was available on the phone to help me as I filled out protective order paperwork at the courthouse. I still marvel at how Laurie skillfully maneuvered our subsequent actions with my ex, his lawyer and a eventually family counselor. My kids are in a much better place because of how she helped me handle this very difficult situation.
