Although my settlement negotiations are still pending with the parties involved in an accident costing over $43,000 in property damage....Attorney Travis Jacobs set realistic expectations for what to expect in handling my situation myself and at what point would be best to actually retain his legal services to help minimize out-of-pocket expenses. Travis is a highly competent lawyer and conscientious guy. I've sought his council on several business endeavors. One time I was about to enter into a two year long business relationship that was really an ambush, and Travis did a terrific job of reading the fineprint, and defending my interests against partners of bad faith. Another time I worked on a business which didn't succeed (for financial reasons), and Travis was helpful and flexible with the payment plan (and never billed unnecessarily, as many lawyers do).
