Jennifer Silva is a highly professional attorney in family law. Jennifer was my divorce attorney for the final portion of my divorce process and I highly recommend her. Jennifer and Mavrides Law are a highly skilled and professional team. Jennifer was persistent and confident representing me at my court hearings and also helped my spouse and I come to a resolution for the intense child custody issues that he and I could not agree with. If it wasn’t for Jennifer we would still be appearing in court hearings and end up in trial. Jennifer genuinely cared about me and my case and what was important to me. She is also very ethical and looked after my needs. Jennifer made sure everything was covered in my final separation agreement for me and my child. She was extremely detailed oriented in my agreement that addressed complex areas. I am so happy and pleased with the outcome of my divorce and final separation agreement due to Jennifer’s skills. I am very thankful Jennifer was my attorney and can’t thank her enough. Thank you Jennifer for working so hard on my case!

I paid $650 for a two hour consultation with Jennifer Silva of Malvrides Law. It ended after 90 minutes and I was invited by Jennifer to contact her if I had any questions. Three days later, I did have one question. First, I emailed it and not receiving a reply, I called Jennifer and left a message with the woman who answered her phone. Neither my email nor my call were answered. I made the mistake of thinking that a consultation was merely the first step in progressing my case. I was wrong. I had no right to expect that Jennifer would respond to my communications nor that she would progress my case beyond that consultation. I made a mistake.

Jennifer and Mavrides law team are the most professional, responsive, and by far the best attorney for family law in MA! I would never higher anyone else again other then Jennifer and or the Mavrides firm for any future problems that may arise.

I highly recommend Jennifer Silva as a divorce attorney, without reservation. Jennifer worked arduously on my divorce settlement agreement between my husband and myself. Together we drafted an agreement that worked for me personally, in which she protected my financial interests and achieved the goals I wanted to achieve. Jen protected my state pension from my husband’s access, and arranged for my daughter’s college education, which were the two most important issues to me. She listened extremely well throughout the process and constantly brought the agreement back to my original goals. This required much tweaking, and Jen was constantly available to make any changes immediately. She advised me of possible scenarios and kept on the path to a solid divorce settlement. Again, I would highly recommend Jen Silva. She is an extremely knowledgeable divorce attorney who is extremely approachable and accessible.

Jennifer helped me through the most tragic time of my life, always made me feel assured and confident that I would get my joint custody back. After having failed to establish equal custody with my x-wife through mediation and meeting with two other lawyers that assumed the court would not order equal custody of my four year old son to me with no rationale to why? Luckily I was fortunate enough to come across MAVRIDES Law on AAVO. I first made contact with MAVRIDES via email and explained my goal of securing equal custody of my son. Within 24 hours Marcia Mavrides responded and gave me the confidence to continue my pursuit which eventually lead to me meeting Marcia and Jennifer Silva. Jennifer and team were fantastic. I was not satisfied with my original counsel. Then I turned to Jennifer and team. It was a decision that ultimately proved extremely wise. It's with GREAT PLEASURE that I write this review. I've been working with Mavrides Law since my initial consultation back in December of 2011. From my first conversation with Marcia, I knew the connection we made was one that was first and foremost all about my daughter's future. She not only spent over an hour with me on the call to learn about my specific situation, but her knowledge of family law in the state of MA was evident from the beginning: and if you're going to fight for shared parenting, you need the best of the best when it comes to knowledge... Everything Marcia or Jennifer explained would happen throughout this arduous/emotional/frustrating process happened like clock work. Their advice was always in the best interest of my daughter. They were candid and blunt about what to expect and put things plainly so that I can make the best possible decision for my daughter. Fast forward 1 yr and 4 months from when I actually retained their services. I've recently been blessed and awarded 50% shared custody (legal & physical) of my daughter, and that was all due to not only their firms experience, but also to the dedicated team they have assembled at Mavrides Law. Marcia & Jennifer were diligent, hard working, empathetic, and just plain awesome to work with throughout this process....Working with them together was like working with a pitcher/catcher duo that is unmatched. I couldn't be more blessed to have connected with them both. If ever I need anything regarding family law again, Mavrides Law is on my speed dial: plain and simple. In closing, while I don't wish the custody battle process on anyone, if you are ever faced with the decision to hire a family law attorney in Massachusetts, Mavrides Law should be on your list of first options. My step father use to say to me, you get what you pay for, and while Mavrides Law may not be the least expensive firm out there, Mavrides Law is worth their weight in Gold. My daughter and I are forever indebted to them all!
