I started a discrimination complaint against a property manager on my own, which was difficult even though I knew a bit about the Fair Housing Act. But during the early stages and mediation, I felt that I was not taken seriously and was left feeling hopeless. After dealing with the other sides lawyer, I looked into getting advice from an attorney myself. Mr. Kidd was the first one after calling attorneys closer to my location that listened to my predicament and gave me advice on how to possibly proceed with my complaint. I decided that I should have him help the rest of the way through the process. From the first meeting until the end, he was very professional and willing to listen to what I wanted instead of just taking the easy way to finish. He also was willing to fight for what I wanted, and gave me a great sense of confidence about the ordeal. Though I did not get the settlement I was initially hoping for, Mr. Kidd was able to get me much more than what I thought I would. The agreement reached was more because of the MCAD employees than Mr. Kidd, as he helped get me an outcome I am content with and able to move on from. He is an attorney you need when everything seems to be going wrong, and he will make sure you are better off for it.
