I was denied my unemployment benefits because I was attending school full time. CRAZY right... after speaking to multiple people in the unemployment office and getting the run around. I sent out an appeal, from there it was a waiting game for my appeal hearing date. I never been through this process before.I was really stressed and nervous. I spoke to Jill Havens about my case an she told me how things are gonna go with the hearing officer. Word for word everything went exactly how she said it would. She made me feel extremely confident & comfortable about the whole situation. I won my appeal case!! She’s very professional & caring about your situation. I had been denied unemployment benefits and was headed for an appeal hearing. After contacting Attorney Havens office I was offered two levels of service. I initially met with Ms. Havens,a former Hearing officer herself,who adeptly dissected my case making clear to me the key points. Attorney Havens felt I could handle the hearing myself. I however opted to hire her to appear with me at the successful hearing appeal. Ms. Havens really knows her way around the hearing process. I only wish I had met with her before filing my slightly unusual unemployment claim. Attorney Havens has a nice way about her, a lot of integrity and is very skilled in this area.
