I contacted Sokolove Law about the Camp Lejeune Justice Act/PACT Act. I do qualify based on my time in Camp Lejeune and health condition. The paperwork I received from Sokolove Law was the standard contract. That contract listed the attorney fees at 40%. I discussed the fact that the above Act limits attorney fees at 25% and asked that a modified contract be made available for me to sign. The nice woman who did the intake said someone would call me. I received that call today 08.26.2022. I discussed the contract and the 40% with the woman who called. She stated that yes, 40% is their standard. I informed her that while I understand that, for Camp Lejeune the law clearly states that the fees are limited to 25%. She repeatedly told me no, it's 40%. I mentioned the Act and it's inclusion of 28 U.S. Code 2678 "No attorney shall charge, demand, receive, or collect for services rendered, fees in excess of 25% per centum of any judgement rendered...." The kind woman insisted I was wrong. Two things here that made me decide that Sokolove is not the firm for me. 1) they did not listen to their potential client 2) they are unfamiliar with the law. I encourage the Sokolove Firm to ensure that all their employees are aware of the law and more importantly create a contract that includes those provisions of the law. Thank you

Definitely not my Attorney. Too many inquiries to hire this law firm. Especially after being told more than once via phone and email.

I worked with three employees of this company. Only one is ok. One for closing is awful at Burlington. She spoke very fast. If you asked any questions, she tried to use another way to answer your questions and complained that you did not understand her explanations. As a result, you felt you might not ask more questions but just signed all these documents. Even more, she might chose to ignore your questions to fast the closing. She might just try to finish closing asap. One reason is that she might have more than one closing the same day. She just wanted the closing is fast and smooth since fewer questions could save her more time. This company just did the same as others or even a bit worse but they charged more. I would not work with them anymore. In addition, my experience with redfin is unpleasant as well.

Reached out to these guys regarding the Camp Lejeune case as I am victim of what happened there. I could not speak with attorney, but they wanted me to hire them on at 40% of what they would supposedly win from me. Their staff refused to assist with anything. DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM.

Find a company with cheaper price that could offer the same service. My experience with this company is very disappointing. When you call this company first time, David would personally talk with you. But eventually he did not work on this at all instead other employees would work with you.

Fast and easy, Kris was very nice, and very helpful, very compassionate on what is going on with clients. and he has answered all questions. Thanks for the help Kris.
