Nelia M. DeStefano , EsQ. Is the Best Lawer I have ever dealt with in my Life. In 1990 , I was Driving a company vehicle when I was hit in the back by a Drunken driver while I was sitting at a stop sign. The driver was Arrested on the spot and was taken to the providence police station. I was taken out of the Vehicle and rushed by rescue to the hospital. I hired my fathers lawer thinking that I would not have anything to worrie about . I was put on workmen compensation. As time went on , my Doctor sent me for a M.R.I. Because My pain in my back was massive . The M.R.I. Showed a bulge Disc L5S1. My Doctor put cortisone shots in my back in L5S1 at the Hospital . The case started to become very Difficult because the Lawer did not have the experience to deal with this type of case. Workmen Compensation and the Insurance Company became very hard to deal with . The Insurance Company stop my checks and was not paying for my Doctors visits and Hosiptal Bills and my medication. I became VERY ANGRY because I could never get in contact with my Lawer. Over the 9 years dealing with the Insurance Company , They would follow me in my car every were I would go. And dealing the Workman Compensation and the Lawer. It became very Overwhelming and a NIGHTMARE . So I started to seach for a NEW LAWER , Because I had to much to deal with regarding my Health. I seen the ad Brian Cunha & Associates Law firm in the yellow pages. So I called . I talk to Nelia M. DeStefano, EsQ. I met Nelia at the East Providence office . I told Nelia everything I was dealing with . After talking to Nelia M. DeStefano EsQ . I was convinced that Nelia should take over this case. I hired Nelia M. DeStefano EsQ, and that was the Best Decision I ever made . After hiring Nelia M DeStefano EsQ , Immediately thing started to change . The Insurance Company did not want to pay for any surgeries , also they cut off my payment again and Doctors visits and medication. Nelia M. DeStefano EsQ , and the Insurance and I went to Court . We met the JUDGE . To make a long story short . The JUDGE VOTED in my favor so I can have the Surgery and pay all payment Retroactive from January To August , For all check to be paid in full . Also all doctor visits and medication . Week's went by and no checks. So I called Nelia M . DeStefano EsQ , I told Nelia I have not receive any check . Nelia called the Insurance Company. Nelia said to me, Give the Insurance Company more time . A whole month went by and no checks. So Nelia and I went back to Court with the Insurance Company and told the JUDGE that we did not received the check . The JUDGE told the Insurance Company, you have 7 days to pay and after 7 days you will pay 21 percent % every day you are late. Nelia and I left the courtroom . In 3 Days I received the checks , Over night Express . Dr H did the Surgery at the Hospital. The Surgery lasted 7 hours . At the End, Nelia M. DeStefano. EsQ , Fighting with the Insurance Company came to a Hefty settlement. Nelia M. DeStefano EsQ , is the Very BEST. The very Best Lawer and Brian Cunha & Associates is the Best Law Firm in the East Coast . Nelia M. DeStefano EsQ is A High Quality Lawer and is Ranked in my Book as a Rolls Royce.
