Peter made my bankruptcy experience more stressful. At first he was very professional, answered all of my questions. He is very up to date with technology so whenever we needed to schedule an appointment he would send me a request via google calendar. He also replied to my emails right away. However, all of that happened when he was trying to get me as a client. Once I paid him everything changed, his replies weren't as fast. He then cc'd Jason Matalas to the email and said that he "will be preparing my case with the assistance of an associate of his". Jason was not professional at all. I paid Peter because I believe that he would be the one handling my case. Well, the day of my meeting of creditors Jason was the one there with me, he came in to court about 10 minutes before my meeting, didn't introduced himself, was not ready with the paperwork that the creditors were requesting and had no idea what was happening. I went in early to learn more about different bankruptcy cases and learned that my lawyer was supposed to go over some paperwork with me and make sure I understood. I had to ask Jason if he had that paper and he said he didn't think I needed it, and I said that I was sitting there for long enough to know we needed it as well. He got up and asked, they gave him the paperwork for me to review. I was very disappointed because I was expecting the attorney I paid to represent me, not an intern or whatever Jason was at that time. I have nothing against interns, this is part of learning but my problem is with Peter, he didn't review Jason's work and because of that I received a letter 2 months later stating that my bankruptcy case was DISMISSED because the "debtor failed to comply". This letter caused me a great deal of anxiety and stress. At that time, I sent an email to Peter asking about the dismissal letter and he didn't reply so I waited a few days and forwarded my previous email asking for a response. Peter replied 6 days later apologizing and letting me know he will take a look at my case and keep me posted. This guy had Jason handling my case without reviewing it, they failed to submit a letter stating that I went to the car dealership and self surrender my car. I emailed the letter to Peter and Jason and they did not submit, because of that, all my debts went back on my credit report. My stress level was higher than it was before I decided to file for bankruptcy. Peter caused a high level of emotional damaged to me. I had to take anxiety medications because I couldn't sleep. 5 months later I received a letter from the car dealer stating that I owe them a lot of money. They are not supposed to attempt to collect so I emailed attorney Peter Konstantilakis and asked him if he knew why BMW was sending me that letter. His reply "I don’t know why they’re doing this. Your bankruptcy case is closed and my work is complete so that means you are free to call the phone number on the letter, if there is one, and ask them what it is they are doing." He is all about the money, he isn't an attorney at heart, he doesn't care about his clients and does not think that people might review based on their experience. You might find a nice review or testimony of me on his page but that is all BS because it was based on my experience before everything went downhill. They tend to pressure you to write the review because you just filed and everything seem to go smooth. Please read my review and do not write a review until your case is complete. I am writing based on my experience, no one else's. I hope I am able to save you time and money when looking to file and hire a lawyer.

Peter is without a doubt the most polite and honest lawyers there is. From the first phone call, to the first meeting, Peter was unbelievably helpful, and patient, with me, and my case. I couldn't have been any more happy with all of the aspects of him handling my case. Peter is a true professional, and gentleman. I would highly recommend Peter as an attorney.

Even when remaining friends, divorce is difficult. Attorney Konstantilakis simplified the process for us, explaining every step of the way. He was clear and covered all the necessary items. While I hope never to be divorced again, I would highly recommend his service for anyone who is heading down that path.
