After my husband had both the initial application and a reconsideration denied by the Social Security Administration, I asked his case manager where to go for legal assistance with his SSDI appeal, and she recommended Keefe. We’re really glad that we took her advice. The firm was in the midst of a transition as Mr. Keefe retired and his partner, Patrick Hartwig took over the company. But we hardly notice the change because the staff were always pleasant and responsive, and they were always available as we went through the phases of the appeal. Paralegal Elisa is particularly good to work with, and attorney Patrick Hartwig is easy to talk with and communicates very clearly. Both really inspired confidence, which is very helpful during the stress of a protracted disability period. My husband won a limited settlement for a closed period, which is less than optimal because he’s still disabled and unlikely to get back to work in the next few years, so we are having Mr. Hartwig submit a new application. Without his advice we would not even have known that he is eligible to do that. I am very thankful for the help we have received from Keefe Disability Law, and quite hopeful that they will help my husband win again.

These people are amazing! I had filed a disability claim literally the week the country closed down due to Covid. The extensive paperwork for the claim and all my medical records were lost and I was unable to reach any human being via phone or email. I felt lost, frustrated, depressed, it was awful.
