Two things just happened to me that I never thought would in my lifetime; 1. I’d get a divorce, and 2. Hire a personal lawyer. I thought lawyers were somewhat intimidating and they spoke another “language”. Well, Attorney Monique Lamb changed all that and made a very devastating time for me more manageable. In fact, I felt stronger and more empowered. The moment I spoke with her she sounded professional with her knowledge but also like a friend in her support with my drama! We had great communication which was key to me because this whole process was totally foreign. I was almost more scared about understanding this whole process, how everything worked and the wording of the divorce settlement agreement than I was about the divorce itself! Monique basically held my hand and guided me through every step. We’re still in the middle of the pandemic so everything, including the court hearing, was done by zoom, FaceTime, phone or email. Everytime I had a question regarding our agreement or specific “legal wording”, she was there with options and how it should be presented in ways that I would have never known on my own. Everytime I contacted her by email or phone, she usually got back to me within 24 hours. If she couldn’t help me right then and there, we’d set up a date/time when we could go over it by email/phone. This is outside of already scheduled matters. If I only had one negative thing to say, it would be that her fees were a little higher than some of the other lawyers I looked into....however, I feel she was worth it! I would definitely recommend her to others based on my own experience....especially having to do all of this virtually!!

Tom and his staff helped me more than I could have ever asked for! From beginning to end, Tom as well as Brandi and Maria were there to help in any way they could. I could not recommend a better family lawyer. They always got back to me quickly, and always made me feel reassured that I was in good hands.
