I had actually hired another lawyer to pleade my case. My lawyer thought it would be best to bring in "the expert" and that was Mr. Zuber. My family had just sufferred a major tragedy and he was always so calm in getting us through it. I now live in North Carolina and our lawsuit was finalized 9 years ago. I still call on a Phil when I need a referral for an attorney in my state. He is the best, so I know he knows the best. Mr. Zuber was also facing a family tragedy at the time our lawsuit was going on. I didn't even know about it until our case was over. His compassion was always for us, not for himself. I recommend anyone I know in the Maryland area to use him. I will be forever grateful for helping us make the best out of such a terrible life changing event.

I contacted Kelly after dealing with an inept, inferior attorney and am so glad I did. From the moment I met Kelly, she was attentive, explained everything, what I was looking at, and her opinion of settling my case out of court. I never felt rushed when meeting her at her office. Cliff and his team went above and beyond for me when I broke my ankle in a slip and fall. Cliff, Karla, and Bridjet treated me with kindness and did everything they said they would and fought for me and got me a much higher settlement than I expected. I had been Involved in a personal injury case that had drug out for about 2 years. I was supposedly being "represented " by a lawyer hired by Liberty Mutual. This other lawyer gave me release to sign that would entitle me to $548 and Liberty Mutual would gain $24,452.
I knew something wasn't right and I started to call a few lawyers to see if they could give me advice or help me determine what to do. After contacting two other lawyers that wouldn't even look at my documents, I came accross Mr. Lavoie.
Ben took the time first to listen, then read through my documents. He eased my anxieties and lowered my stress levels instantly. He assured me he would do absolutely everything he could do for me. I quickly found my self doing something I thought I would never do...."Trust a Lawyer!" Within a few short weeks, he settled my case for $5400, and even lowered his fees so I received even more money in my pocket.

Our case was a complex Workers Compensation case, which was initially filed in the state of Indiana, since my husband worked for an over the road trucking company based out of Indiana. We reside in Minnesota and the injury occured in Colorado. From what I had read, the case could be transferred to Minnesota. I called several attorneys and Ben Lavoie was the only one who took the time to look at the case and have it filed in Minnesota for us. From that point on, we never felt like we were alone in the complex, drawnout Workers Compensation system. My husband's case took several years to finalize and yet Ben never got discouraged or let us get discouraged. He helped us obtain a very fair settlement for both future lost wages and future medical expenses. I have recommended Ben to a few people already and would do so for anyone in need of an attorney within Ben's practice areas. Bringing a personal injury suit is arduous and extremely stressful. I had no concept of this four years ago when I was struck from behind by a young man who was texting. It would be one of the most intense experiences of my life. What complicated my case was that I had pre existing conditions that would end up getting lumped into my current long term injury.
I had limited tort which surprisingly made it so that 2 firms I spoke with wouldn’t even take my case. A friend had recommended Bryan Hanratty to me. The minute I met him I had complete faith in him. One of the things I liked best about him was his compassion for the agony I was in and the way it has affected my life and the lives of my family. I am no longer the helpful creative force of nature I was 4 years ago. My family could depend on me for just about anything.
Bryan took that part very seriously. He understood the personal aspect of a personal injury. Bryan gave me the courage to go the distance for a long drawn out claim including several stressful depositions and ultimately arbitration. By the time we got to arbitration I was convinced I would lose the case and have to live with the ongoing daily excruciating pain because someone wasn’t looking while driving. Yes, accidents happen, but an accident can ruin someone’s life.
I’m a natural born surrenderer. I loathe conflict and stress. It’s easy for me to run the other way. Every time I told Bryan I felt discouraged he would tell me not to worry.
He ultimately won the claim for me. He tells me we did it together but I know for a fact it was him. There’s a warrior in him even though he comes off like a guy you would want for your neighbor.
If you need someone for any kind of personal injury, I would say first, it will be tough. And there won’t be anyone more capable and professional and encouraging than him. I give him 10 out of ten stars.
