Reid McCarthy helped me get my mother's affairs all in order and deal with some unpleasant situations that she was in. He was great and very patient with all my questions and ongoing phone calls and emails. I highly recommend him!

Mr. McCarthy helped in the resolution of my brother's trust and estate. The lawyer who set up the trust became unavailable shortly after my brother's death. Mr. McCarthy was able to handle all of the necessary legal work, despite not having been involved in establishing the trust. He did this in a very professional manner. I lived several hundred miles away from Mr. McCarthy but he willingly made himself available when I was in Ann Arbor. I am indebted to him for his work and knowledge and strongly recommend him for estate planning. His rates were reasonable and his work was timely and complete.

Reid McCarthy of Ann Arbor Elder Law has been doing wonderful work for my family for many years in assuring all legal documents are in place to secure our well-being in the event of any occurrence. He responds quickly and clearly to all follow-up clarifications needed. Meeting him in his office is always pleasant, with wonderful conversations and yet, he is always on time as well! Reid is highly skilled and compassionate. After my husband's stroke, we were fearful and in danger of losing everything we had to health care needs. Reid guided us through a morass of legalese, simplified things so we could understand, and helped us create wills and a trust to preserve our resources. He then helped me to get my nursing-home-bound husband onto Medicaid. I cannot say enough good things about his skill or his kindness.

Ried is fantastic. He is not only professional but very easy to talk to. He was there for me at the worst part of my life with my mom and stage 6 dementia. Fearing I would lose all of her hard earned money from my inheritance he made it happen. I really don't have enough good words to say about him.

Reid has been wonderful to work with. I needed to set up a trust for my brother. Reid he took all the time necessary discussing the legal ramifications before the trust was drawn up. Reid has been very available to discuss any questions I have going forward. Must of our correspondence has been by phone and email since I live in Iowa. I would highly recommend Ann Arbor Elder Law and will continue to work with Reid in the future.

Because of Reid’s careful estate planning for my parents he saved us enough in taxes that we would have otherwise have paid to send all 5 of my parents great grandchildren to college. He is excellent with older people.
