During one of the hardest moments of my life, I was referred to Mr. Joe Simon. I read his reviews and saw his awards. And as someone who never thought I'd be in a situation where I'd need a criminal defense attorney, I can say that hiring Joe was the smartest decision I could have made. From the beginning, Joe was thorough and knowledgeable. During a time where everything felt very scary, he always took the time to break everything down so I could understand the process, the language, and the next steps. And his right hand woman, Victoria, always kept me informed and aware of upcoming dates and requests. It was the longest six months of my life, but there is no way I could have navigated the judicial process without Joe on my side. He was no nonsense with me when I needed it, but he also showed humanity and empathy when I needed it. In a system that is set up to focus on dockets and statues and technicalities, Joe knows every tiny detail of that piece but also helps you keep your humanity during the process. His long history with the court meant he also knew the judges and attorneys and had relationships that allowed him to have conversations that helped drive the process forward. Most recently my case got thrown a curveball after we thought all was resolved, and without any hesitation, Joe jumped back into it for me and showed up to court with all the facts and research to support me. I appreciate Joe for so much more than he is. He's not just an attorney that will represent you. He is also a teacher who will educate you along the way. A therapist when you need to have someone hear your side. An advisor who can give you great insight on how to handle the steps ahead. And sometimes even a jokester to help lighten the mood during what can be a very heavy time.
