Didn't want to give a star. But she showed up for court when it was over. while we were literally walking out.. and still billed me and she didn't do anything

I did shop around for a good lawyer for my divorce. I prepared a list of questions and interviewed a lot of lawyers for their knowledge of divorce law. Mindy was my choice. The result? I had a good settlement! Mindy goes above and beyond for her clients. She truly cares about her clients and fights very hard for them. Mindy works very hard on the case. Sometimes she works until midnight/early morning to make sure the case is well prepared( I received a quite few emails with time stamp 2AM). Mindy's co-counsel Alex is very knowledgeable and helpful too, he helped me out greatly.

Mindy Hitchcock found a solution in just DAYS, and had the solution accepted and approved by the courts almost immediately. Mindy has been my attorney throughout a very nasty custody battle and she has been great throughout. When my case began, I felt defeated. It seemed as if the deck was stacked against me being a single dad. My child's mother wasn't allowing me to see my child at all. Mindy helped me tremendously through this uphill battle and I now spend nearly equal time with my child. It wasn't easy and I know it wasn't fun, but Mindy was vigilant in making sure that I got what any parent SHOULD have. She dealt with opposing counsel that was underhanded and scheming and still came out on top. She has been easy to talk to from the beginning and has been great about keeping me updated on my case and getting back to me quickly when I've had problems. She is a fantastic attorney and a great person. I'm sure a lot of lawyers will say that they truly CARE for their clients; but Mindy doesn't just say it. She means it. She's given me what I would have been denied otherwise: A relationship with my son. That is something that can't be quantified in words.

I have retained Ms. Hitchock twice now for civil matters and continue to be impressed my her diligence and professionalism. A couple years ago I was in the middle of an employment dispute and Ms. Hitchcock alleviated the issue quickly and professionally. A few months ago when I came into a civil matter so I contacted Ms. Hitchcock again, who in turn explained all my options and helped guide me in the direction we both agreed would be best. She put together and filed a complaint very quickly and took the time to thoroughly explain to me all of the possible outcomes and what to expect in the preceding months. To start, there are many sources of legal aid available, and they're all easy to find thanks to the world wide web. I had to do some google searching and made a few phone calls once I narrowed some of my options down. In the end, I chose the person who I felt I trust most and put me at the biggest advantage. Mindy and her staff were very upfront and honest, so I knew what I could and could not expect. While I had to give the benefit of the doubt up front, along the road this grew into trust and respect. I liked that I was kept up to date with coming issues before they were brought up and knew what to expect; it helped my stress levels as well as sleep. Mindy seemed far more experienced than budget lawyers, and her conduct and professionalism gave me more confidence in knowing I made the right choice. With any good legal representative, Mindy was always busy, but also was always willing to return my calls or email me diligently. I can't imagine it'd be worth hiring any lawyer that only takes on a single case at a time (or at least isn't in my budget), but that is the reason I took one notch down in the Responsive category. In the end, it's all about the results, and mine were better than I originally thought possible. While your mileage may vary depending on your circumstances, I certainly am a happy with the entire process from start to finish. Mindy and her Lady4Justice staff have made a client for life... I just hope I won't need her services in the future :-)
